Oguma: He's big, he's bad, and he's here to fuck your shit. He requires no explanation. Yubello is slow and weak, but can eventually become one of the most powerful mages in the game. He's not getting used. Her bases aren't bad, but her growths... leave something to be desired, particularly her whopping 30% MHP growth. She'll get one-shotted all game long, but she can use staves while she's about. She also has Rescue and Ohm exclusivity. Not bad at all! That said, she's not seeing that much use. Yubello will be STRONG and protect this village from the Thief. And unlike New Mystery of the LUNATIC, his DEF is high enough that he can actually tank here! Even crits do a measly 6, so he should be fine. Operative word: should. He truly is a man's man. Not exactly the luckiest fellow to ever walk the earth, though... Sirius: can and will fuck your shit. Also likes twirling lances before attacking! Hopefully, with Taurus equipped, she'll make good use of this level! All that, and MHP. Not bad, Cecil. Not bad at all. Somebody is getting moved. Alan sits on a fort and tanks with his delicious DEF. Barring Turn 1 reinforcements *shudder*, Katua has a 0% death chance. Oguma getting shot: it's gonna happen. A lot. So why exactly are you not using Caeda? ^ [spoiler=Book 1 Chapter 5] And our next recruit, THE POPE. His growths are pretty crap... BUT. He is not to be disrespected. His Grace may be ancient, but he moves like an adept warrior and can put most anything with 18 HP or less down in a single round. Don't test The Pope. Saves you a Bishop Ring too which are VERY rare in this game. Only Bishop that you can have till ch15. 5000 G into the pocket. I swear, this run is drowning me with money! *giggle* The first of Marth' games always does so. ...I'll be more inspired when I'm not writing these updates in the middle of the night, I promise! Flight or no, her Str growth is abysmal. Given the presence of Minerva, Paola, and Katua, who are all solid out of the gate and only get manlier--I can pass on her. Plus, being able to use Silver Lance at base isn't as manly when Abel and Kain very quickly meet that benchmark, and most lancers come in having met it. Screw it, I already made the decision not to use Caeda. Even though doubling with Iron is actually a benchmark I'm still waiting for Abel and Hardin to hit... Eh, this game seems easy enough. I shouldn't be in any real trouble. It's even manageable with an all out girls run. If you don't level up Sheeda, then how are you going to get Book 1's sole Silver Axe? D: Using Sheeda or not is not a big deal, but let's not pretend she's a bad unit. Best unit mobility in book 1, best user of silver lance for several chapters, and support bonuses for Marth and Oguma. Also, don't forget that Minerva and the Whitewings take FOREVER to recruit because you have to go rescue Maria first. :/ Even with her Str issues, Sheeda is probably still like a top 5 unit in book 1 lol. Only one of the few that you should have to battle Camus as she gets good enough Speed to never get doubled and her abysmal Str can be solved with a Power Ring/Growing with the Star Orb. Her tier is OU, because she's a dodgequeen and almost, if ever, gets doubled. [spoiler=Book 1 Chapter 6] It's an Ironman run. Of course I'm giving Marthipan the Robe. Great. He needs it to combat dragons as they neglect defenses in this game. I don't believe it either, but Marich's getting a kill! Merric. <333 ...Minerva suddenly has 4 less Def. And I have no idea why. What do you have to lose?""Ceasar's life, a Steel Sword, some money--" The arenas are bad in this game as they allow dragon enemies in them. However, they don't allow yours to enter the arena.
