I've got 24 lovely level 100s waiting to get updated movesets from Emerald, and can't wait to get into X. However, I really don't want to buy a gen 4 and/or 5 game. Orpheon Posted January 5, 2014 Share Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) It would have to be a generation 5 game. As far as I know, 4th gen games won't work with transporter. As long as your friend lets you do it from his cart, you should be fine. But don't you have to transfer the pokemon to DPPt first and then to 5th gen?
