The only people who have played older, main series games are Japanese, people who are older fans and actually care about SMT (who aren't where the money's at), and hipsters like myself who try smt2 and quit Instead of saying, "Oh this is smt," and making that, they should just say "We're crossing persona and awakening, en-fucking-joy it." Because from what I've seen, main series SMT is anything but J-Pop. NOT SAYING IT'S BAD, oh who am I kidding I am hating so hard on this game But to address this post. Think back, they never said it was just the smt mainline... well they didn't say anything at all. lmao They used the umbrella term SMT that encompasses Persona as well... at least in the US. "There is no SMT on japanese copies of persona games" It's still part of the franchise. That would be really weird.
