Some feedback, if you don't mind

I've been lurking on the site for a while now, and I finally decided to make an account since I was planning to start a (FE8) hack of my own sometime in the future (most likely when I have time during the summer.)

I don't know too much about hacking the game itself, so while I read up on that and try to get over my writer's block (I have like half of the scenario written), I decided to try my hand at some splicing and would like some feedback on what I've done so far before I start working on any others. That said, I currently have completed two splices that I'm pretty happy with, but I feel that they're still really similar to their 'originals' (so I'll have to edit them more when I have time).

Here they are with a little bit of a character bio without giving too much away (at least until the second draft and more characters get portraits)

Our main character, the younger princess of Agria, Irua. Soft-spoken and kind-hearted, she has a strong sense of justice. Her mother died mysteriously while she was young and did not give any male heirs to the throne so, having turned 14 at the beginning of the story, she begins training to lead her country's armies, like her sister does. She seeks to uncover the mystery behind her mother's death. After her father's death in the prologue, she is taken under the care of her uncle, the King's younger brother and Regent of the throne. Her crimson hair and eyes are proof that the blood of dragons long gone flows through her, as it did for her mother. However, it is said that the blood of dragons, if extracted and purified with magic, can grant eternal life...

The elder sister to our protagonist and heir to the Agrian throne, Aria. An accomplished tactician and rider, she is in charge of all Agrian military affairs and personally leads her armies to battle. She is fiercely loyal to her country and protective of her younger sister. At the beginning of the story, she is leading a campaign against a neighbouring kingdom when she receives news of her father's death. Victorious in her campaign, she returns to the capital to be coronated as Queen. As the story progresses, she becomes torn between her duty to her country and her love for the sole remaining member of her family. With crimson eyes, she too has the blood of ancient dragons within her, though to a lesser degree than her sister as evidenced by her dark hair of the Agrian people.

The King and the (former) Queen are done, but I'm not too happy with how they look right now.

(These are my first splices, so please be gentle)

I don't really see a problem with Irua, aside from the fact that... she has a busty chest for being fourteen? (Looks busty at least to me.)

Aria has problems that I saw right away however...

Having taken it into paint, there is three "white" instead of transparency pixels close to her right side armor, I'll show you later.

I have circled the spots that I feels like are problems, but I am novice, so I don't really have proper insight.

The circled area on her hair feels like it's... awkward? I'm not certain if it's correct term to describe it, but I feels like the hair doesn't feels like hair but rather a mess of pixels. Perhaps an expert could tell you in more details, or at better explanation.

The circled area on her armor need shading. That is for certain.

And lastly, her left side armor is flat, make it rounder.

Perhaps there are some shading you need to do that I didn't notice for Irua, so it is a good chance to check her shading yourself.
