Hero of the Fire Emblems
I'm sure you all know about the Mariokart Disc for FE7, and if you don't go look on the wiki. But i'm curious and confused to hear through word of mouth that the same concept was applied to Binding Blade and Sacred Stones, with new maps and items being added. Can someone tell me if it's true, and if it is, are we missing out on Blazing Sword maps and items?!? If someone has a dump/patch of the maps and items for BB and SS, could you give a link? gringe
I don't think that is true.
Ϲharlie
It's true, and has been well-documented for years. Read more about it here. To summarize, FE6 had additional trial maps, but I'm not sure if there is any way to access them through a standard rom seeing as the maps were available in a special copy of the game. FE8 had additional items, but no maps. I'm pretty sure it's possible to obtain these items by toying around with a rom. International versions of FE7 did not miss out on anything and even got two items that weren't available in Japan (wind sword and emblem seal). gringe
Interesting. Well, guess we're not missing much, though.
Klokinator
Primefusion would cry if he ever saw this horrible tile-spammy map.
Hero of the Fire Emblems
The more I think about it, Nintendo was REALLY pushing DLC during the GBA/Gamecube lifespan. first the e-reader, and now this...
phobia
it's sad the e-reader wasn't used more, it could've been quite cool
Ninian
I found one at a Goodwill for 50 cents, and it's (not really) worth it. It has Excitebikes on it, which my brother used to play for hours on end.
