Hero of the Fire Emblems
I need to know if Gaiden uses any Famicom exclusive features (Mic, soundbank, etc.) and if it's possible to play perfectly on an American NES. I also need to know if Genealogy of the Holy War and Thracia 776 can be played perfectly on SNES.
Hawkeye
To my knowledge there is no need for any of the famicom-only features
SRC
I don't think you'll encounter any hardware problems while playing the games. Your only trouble will be fitting them into the system. Make sure you have a 60-72 pin converter so you can play Famicom games on an NES and your SNES is properly modified so there are no plastic tabs preventing the cartridges from fitting. (You might or might not already know this, but it's definitely something you would want to be aware of before making a purchase.)
Cowboy Karimov
Honestly, an emulator with the patched ROMs is the better option. Unless you can read Japanese, where I would say that the original hardware is better. Also, I don't believe that there are any hardware differences between both versions, and they don't use the exclusive features. Unless you live in Europe, who, I believe, uses a different TV signal than Anglo-America and Japan(not sure about Latin America). In Europe, you'd have to buy an NTSC-friendly version of the system, an NTSC TV, and a power converter.
Ϲharlie
I know from experience that all three Fire Emblems for the SNES will play just fine on a North American SNES. I didn't play my copy of Gaiden very extensively, but I don't foresee any issues playing it on a North American NES so long as you have a convertor. A 3rd party console that supports Famicom games should also be able to play it fine.
