I heard on NPR that one Chinese social media user (sina weibo, was it? I forget) posted something like, "I can't believe their propaganda department let them get away with releasing this!"

Only Marylanders in here so far. Interesting.

I haven't watched it, but I found one of its gaffes pretty funny.

Not only is that building next to the [baltimore] harbor, DC has a law that doesn't allow it to have buildings this tall.

My class watched the first episode in our Social Science class when we had about power and influence. It was pretty nice. I don't have Netflix though, so I have only watched that one episode.

The UK version is worth watching, and not so much outright 'better' as just 'different' (I prefer it, but love both) - Series 2 of each is where the major splits started to happen. This is unsurprising, since Series 2 of the UK House of Cards dealt strongly with the royal family, so...
