Randoman
I always wear them, except when I'm in the driveway trying to make very slight adjustments to the parking position of the car/van. I mean, it's almost always provided in the vehicle, it only takes 2-3 seconds to put on, and I'd rather not take my chances.

kingddd
Either you wear a random cloth that goes on your chest and puts you into position or get fined a few hundred dollars and get flown around the car if the driver is incompetent with their driving skills. Nobody
Always. There's literally not a single time I get into a car and don't put it, specially if I'm driving it.
MisterIceTeaPeach
In which countries is it legal to drive without wearing seatbelts? Anyway I never would do it. Edited April 29, 2014 by MisterIceTeaPeach
shadowofchaos
Always. And I mean always. That goes for passengers too. I don't move the car unless they all have it clicked.

I remember no one would wear seatbelts when I was there. Could be just people not following the law, though... Rehab
I once rode in a car with a Greek friend who not only did not wear a seatbelt, but who leaned forward while in the back seat (of a 4-door), essentially standing inside the car, his hands on the shoulders of the two front seats. To try to brace himself? I suppose? I might have been more scared for somebody's safety while in a car at some point, but hell if I can remember when

I think they are not obligatory maybe in some African and Asien countries, which have a bad traffic infrastucture. I did not even know that in the US the seatbelt law only exists to front seat occupants! I am shocked. Esau of Isaac
I usually don't wear it if I'm going to be driving down the street to get gas or beer or something. Also I'm a rebel and click it on when I'm driving off, not when I first get in the car.
Ϲharlie
The only time I don't wear a seatbelt is if I have to move my car out of someone's way for whatever reason. Other than that, I always wear a seatbelt, and I'm very particular about any passengers I may have wearing seatbelts as well.
Integrity
click it or ticket dude (obviously not when i'm, like, moving my car on my own driveway or something)
BANRYU
My fiancee's grandmother is very very German and she thinks it's ridiculous to wear the seatbelt for some reason, calls it safety propaganda or something (I don't remember what exactly her case was, I'm probably misrepresenting it). She's a lovely woman, but...... uh.... Yeah I dunno, personally I always wear it too. Don't see why not, just in case, right? Seems pretty straightforward. dondon151
In which countries is it legal to drive without wearing seatbelts? Anyway I never would do it. i think it is nominally illegal in china, but no one ever wears them. from my recollection, most taxis do not even have seatbelts in the back seat. many car owners buy seatbelt buckles without the strap so that they can fool the warning system. I can confirm that back when I lived in hong kong in the 90s many taxis did this. Nowadays they can't do that anymore as traffic and car regulations has now gotten a lot more strict over the years. Although I ridden a bus where the driver was going 100 km/hr once when I was travelling back in 2008. The speeding alarm was literally beeping the entire time. Luckily the road was empty at the time. Darros
The only time I'd ever not wear a seatbelt is if we have more seats than people. Even then, I try to be in one of the belted seats.

Rewjeo
I feel weird sitting in a car without a seatbelt on. As in, if I'm just sitting in a car with some friends not moving I still have to wear a seatbelt.
Loki Laufeyson
Same in Crumpetland. Same in Eagleland. I feel absolutely naked without a seatbelt on in a car. The only time i dont wear one in a vehicle is public transit. I hate my back seat cuz my Jeep is older and it has those belts that only go across the lap. No one really sits back there anyway so i guess its ok.
Nightmare
As soon as I am seated, I am seatbelted.
