Anacybele
I don't know how many times you've tried now, but if you do like the gameplay, I think it will be worth giving it enough chances before giving up. The thing with Death Mountain is that the boulder attacks seem to take out the allied base pretty fast. The boulder keeps are the ones near the center of the map, so make sure you're always holding onto those. One time I was defending my base and I thought I was fine, but then I suddenly lost because of those damn boulders. Take them, and if one goes down, immediately get it back. Other than that, I can't really be sure how to help you without watching you play. For bigger enemies, always make sure to watch their attacks and time your dodges properly so you can get those weakpoint hits in (Darunia can be tough, though; if he does an attack like the lava one that prevents you from running up to him in time, shoot an arrow quickly and it should stun him long enough for you to get in there and get some hits in). And obviously, try to get as many enemies as possible into range for special attacks. I don't know if you prefer Impa's or Sheik's playstyle, but for this one I'd recommend Sheik. Her special is really good and a lot easier to make effective use of, her attacks are faster, and I think she runs faster (it's possible I'm wrong and everyone runs at the same speed, though). I think I've tried at least half a dozen times now... I know which are the boulder bases. I try to protect them all the time. But it seems like every time I take one back, the other falls at the same time, even if I've captured other bases and outposts. I can't be in both bases at once. I was able to beat Darunia, he wasn't much of an issue. Though he IS tough. I was using Impa because the game recommended the water element for this map. Here's a tip: When you're capturing a base, make sure to capture the outposts next to them. That way, no enemy reinforcements will recapture the bases. Soledai
Does anyone else dodge cancel when the do a combo? It's helps start new combos faster and for when you're stuck in animation in long ones. Especially on harder modes when enemies do more damage?. From what I hear, everyone can dodge cancel their attacks in this game?

Do you use your special attack to wipe out foes faster in the bases?
Florete
And the map recommends Impa because her Giant Blade has water element, which does more damage to the Gorons.Well, I guess that's a thing. Then again, if that's all it is, having a high enough level will compensate. (To be honest I've not bothered much with what the maps recommend because I haven't found it to make much of a difference) I think I've tried at least half a dozen times now... I know which are the boulder bases. I try to protect them all the time. But it seems like every time I take one back, the other falls at the same time, even if I've captured other bases and outposts. Eh, don't really know what else to say without watching you (which is obviously not an option). The boulder keeps are pretty close to each other, so taking one after the other shouldn't be too much of an issue. Just try something different, I guess. I don't know what, but keeping the factors the same never produced different results.

IceBrand
I don't know how far you are in the game Red Fox but, map elements make a HUGE difference later on in a certain level. Let's just say if you don't equip Link's signature Blade, you'll have some trouble.
Anacybele
I'm where the paths first split into the three areas from the 3D Zeldas. But thanks. Which reminds me, I love how the game's main theme is a medley of music from them! Hearing the Ballad of the Goddess in it is especially awesome because it's one of the best pieces in the series. :D Edited September 30, 2014 by Anacybele
Book of Ereshkigal
Loving the game so far, love the three maps in a row where you play as a certain someone. Not quite done with legend mode yet...

Dai
Just beat the game. It was a whole lotta fun, too. =D I can't wait to get everyone maxed out with their best gear, though.

S_Cero
Adventure mode is getting pretty damn hard now that I'm pretty far into it. I can normally cheese most of the missions with Master Sword Link but those weapon challenges can just be brutal, and even more so when trying to get that damn A rank. I still need to find some way to efficiently level up my other characters since they are still level 24. Oh yeah, what's even worse is how to get to the tile with Link's last weapon you need to get an A rank on Zelda's mission before, which is hard. PuffPuff
My favourite weapon so far are the gloves just from the footage. Love how Link just randomly grabs that black rock from OOT out of nowhere and starts spinning around with it. This certainly beats a Chaos Emeralds power. :P I am amused I've saved this. Holy Sh-- Ganon is playable. :D I'll have to make further plans to get this game too! ^_^ https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=g1p7aha2vkU video of OOT Dorf and TP Dorf (I'm of the mind they should have removed TP's cape... It doesn't... really animate well .-. ) It's rather amusing that his minions aren't obeying him. XD Welp the Hyrule Warriors Artbook is out and some nice little scans of the concept artworks like Link and Zelda's uniform, and weapons. http://layiko.tumblr.com/post/94519874363/photographs-of-the-official-hyrule-warriors Linklu Ugh, god damn it. I can't believe this. I have to give up on this game already. It's impossible to stop Volga from killing me in that battle where Cia shows up. I try to avoid him because killing him seems more impossible, but he hits me anyway somehow. I don't see how this happens, but it does, and within seconds, I'm finished. I'm hardly even given a chance to try hitting him back. Maybe I just suck with Lana or something (I used her because lightning element and I like her), or I just suck in general, I don't know. But I don't feel like playing anymore for awhile. Maybe Warriors isn't my kind of game. Now knowing that this game isn't for everyone...better hope that I like it once that I get it! I managed to beat Volga this time. :D Though I'm not sure how, I squashed him quickly. I also utterly destroyed the boss with an X button attack followed up by a weak-spot strike. Sooo awesome. ^^ I hate Cia though, the game shoves her breasts in your face. Disgusting. Volga is badass though, I have to admit. I like that he appears to be a human version of Volvagia the dragon from Ocarina of Time. :D Oh, I managed to nab another Gold Skulltula too! http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Puff%20Puff For the Japanese term meaning "Puff-Puff" which that is what I'm named. :D Sounds like you're offering to basically hold my hand. No offense, but I would feel like even more of a noob if that happened. Besides, I'd have to bring my laptop downstairs with me... As for getting better, I don't know. I still find Zelda: A Link to the Past hard and I've played it many times over. NES Zeldas were most difficult. They even have felons in the hard mode that demands a heart container or 50 rupees. -.- I was using Impa because the game recommended the water element for this map. if anyone missed it, more of Lana's movesets. It's very focused on Deku properties. Which Lana seems to do...it seems. ----- Lana's Eng tribute! Oh yeah, what's even worse is how to get to the tile with Link's last weapon you need to get an A rank on Zelda's mission before, which is hard. The way I did it was kill Wizzro, run straight to Ghirahim who both show their weakpoint enough to not be an issue, then run back to the fountain entrance, and shoot Volga and the yellows from a distance with her musou, so that the yellows and Volga would more or less kill each other. Go round other keeps to get the kill count up to 1100, (you should be able to get the last 100 inside the yellow keep) For Sheik's tier 3 using the Serenade of Water helps a lot for meeting the damage requirement, which is easily the most annoying thing about A-ranking I find. Same with the 2nd skulltula in adventure mode, kill 1,200 before taking 4 hearts of damage. Also what would people think of Bo being the TP character with a grappling moveset (like Ding Feng for people who have played DW/WO)

BrightBow
That damage requirement is a massive pain. I worked hard to get all these hearts and yet they don't mean anything because by the time they would matter, I already got a useless B-Rank. And it would be nice if the mode would tell you the exact requirements... and when you have taken too much damage so that you might as well reset rather then wasting even more time on a failed run. In the end, Adventure mode just ends up being frustrating for reasons that could easily have been avoided.

It's the same on every map? Well, that would explain why even when I finish a timed objective at the very last second, I still get graded A for time rank. But it's not much of a grading system if you literally can't get lower then A on something. Edited September 30, 2014 by BrightBow

Most of the adventure maps, obviously kill the giant bosses, or kill x00 in y minutes etc. are different, but it is annoying that you need all three to be A rather than it taking the average. Damage is all that's stopping me from getting Midna and Darunia's tier 3s. I actually like Cia's DLC outfit I can't decide if she's wearing a pope hat or a bra on her head

The design looks vagely familiar though I can't put my hands on it from another character or series.
