EZ Flash Problem

I bumped into a problem while using Ez Flash,to be more specifically Ez Flash Vi,the problem is that I can't use cheats.I've had the Ez Flash for like 3 months and I've never used cheats on games,and now when I want to use them it seems like they won't work.

I've got this Ez Flash from one of my friend and I'm using it on a DS Lite,and I don't understand why the cheats won't work because my friend used them when he played games and,he like me,has a DS Lite.

I've tried everything possible:updated the kernel,firmware and everything to the latest,I've downloaded like 4 user cheats,but none of them works,followed every tutorial but it seems like they don't work(and what I want to say is that they won't even show on cheats list when I press Y).

What I want to ask is if someone had this problem and fixed it to help me,or even more good if someone is using now EZ Flash Vi and the cheats are working,if is possible to send me their files of kernel and cheats for the EZ Flash.Thanks.
