yeah she is but man i did some really stupid mistakes, anyway 1cced but finale was for more intense this time. no lives and no bombs. Now I will probably try to go beat kaguya so i can unlock extra for forbidden magic team. Man it's going suck having to battle reimu again,

I re-installed it (using applocale like before to make sure no Japanese symbols get messed up) and it still gives me the same error message.

I have a feeling I'm doing this completely wrong, but I have no idea how.

Try installing on an actual Japanese locale instead of using Applocale?

Hmmm... it almost looks like you copied files directly from the CD into that directory (e.g. setup1.bin, Redist entire folder). That's... not good. Also the long dashes in front of some of the properly named things is worrying. Give tonton's suggestion a try first, if that doesn't work, maybe I'll have to get on skype with you and try some screensharing to get something cleaned up and figured out.

on a scale of 1 to 11, how difficult is MoF extra.

I can get to suwako, and the farthest I've gotten is her fourth spell, I think.

MoF Extra is pretty managable. A couple of Suwako's spells are tricky to figure out, but once you understand them, they're not very difficult for the most part.

this is going to sound dumb but don't you just need to go to your control panel and change your computer locale?,(don't even think you need to reinstall the game just change your computer locale.)

I can get past Kogasa in the extra stage, and I'm sure I can manage the last part of the stage before Nue.

Her first spell is a bitch, her second spell I can kind of get, the third I bomb skip/hope my options do enough damage with having to sacrifice power on bombs.
