Oh fuck, I remember that achievement. That was a pain and a half. I believe it may be manageable if you can sort of spiral around him while he's doing it, but you're probably going to fail to execute it properly. You should at least Boost to halve the damage you take when you see him using it, and jump a lot to try to mitigate it some more. Maybe I'll give a try at a no Burst clear for you, but I can't make any promises.

[spoiler=]The lasers do upwards of 200 damage even when using Boost lol.

However, I decided to grind to Lv50 and ended up getting a lucky run where he didn't seem to feel like using the lasers at all, so I managed to win.

...now hopefully the last piece of advice I'm gonna need for this game, how do you avoid the purple death circle thingie in Dalles' third phase? I never really understood how it's possible to counteract its absurdly strong gravity pull, and Toal doesn't have the extra life the other two had, so I can't just tank through it.

Stage 1 and 2 are fine. Stage 3 stage is alright. Everything after ichirin shows up is lethal to me.
