Stage 4 is a doozy.

The beginning of the stage gives you quite a few opportunities to summon UFOs, but be cautious, as there are bullets flying everyone. Be cautious and only grab UFO tokens when you feel it's safe to.

Midboss Nue isn't particularly difficult at all, but pay attention to her bullet patterns. She can get you if you're not careful.

Now this is where things get insane. After Nue's beaten and you get your extra life/bomb, go down to the bottom right corner and maneuver your way through the upcoming wave of bullets. They're really tricky, though, so be VERY careful. I usually navigate at the bottom right corner since I feel it's the safest spot. Now the stage leading up toward Captain Mimamitsu is simply a pain in the ass, and I you're greedy, your run will end here. The most important thing on your mind should be to simply survive. Ignore the UFO tokens (there will be a bunch), and just dodge the bullets that are everywhere. Things will calm down near the end, but a stray bullet might get you if you're not wary. Of course, you could bomb and get some UFOs if you feel the need to. *shrugs*

Murasa's first nonspell isn't a challenge at all, as well as her first spell. Just lead the anchors to a desired position and safely shoot away at her. Her second nonspell isn't challenging either, but her second spellcards can be. Be careful to not get walled in by raindrops. Move often to avoid that, but navigate carefully. Her final nonspell can be tricky, but remain at the bottom of the screen and move carefully. That should do the trick. Her third spellcard isn't too bad. Watch out for the anchor movements and the bullet patterns. Just be careful and don't freak out. And finally, the dreaded Sinker Ghost. I'm sure Fera can help you out here, as I've never successfully captured this. 3 good 5 me

@Kalas: For Sinker Ghost, go in a large circle but don't try to "outrun" the bullets; just move one or two "lines" at a time, whichever feels safer at the time. Once you get the rhythm down, this spellcard is pretty easy no matter the difficulty.

is it possible to send type of save data to unlock stage 6 for mof, i want to practice with reimu so i can get a real 1 cc.

It is (score.dat), but that'll replace your own unlocks and scores, so it's only a temporary solution if you want to keep those.

The bomb is ridiculously broken, the shot has amazing spread and yet deals respectable damage. What more do you want?

Well, just got my first ever captures for Perfect Blossom and Resurrection Butterfly. It was practice mode, but that still counts, right?

Why wouldn't it? :o

(Turns out that being Lv52 is > Nightmare Mode lol)

Scarlet, what do you think of the UFO shot types?

ReimuA: Decent shot, good bomb. Pretty good.

ReimuB: Weakish homing amulets, decent bomb. Works nicely against bosses but sucks during the stages (due to the nature of the UFO system).

MarisaA: Fighting laser spam with laser spam! Amazing piercing shot and great bomb. Best anti-UFO type and one of the best shot types overall.

MarisaB: "I might as well constantly be at 0 Power!". Terrible shot, worthless bomb. lol

SanaeA: Pseudo-homing snakes, decently strong and not as hard to direct where you want them to go as Reimu's amulets. Amazing bomb. Pretty good.

SanaeB: Amazing spread with decent strength, shotgunning potential, amazing bomb. One of the best shot types overall, although personally, I prefer MarisaA.
