NyanKitteh Posted November 8, 2014 Share Posted November 8, 2014 Alright, now, quick, late-night rant here. You know what really grinds my gears? In FE7, at the beginning of the main tale, the new map theme, Precious Things, plays for only 4 chapters. Then, the next map theme, Companions, plays for about 8-10 chapters total. I don't get why one plays for such a short time but the other for such a long time. And what really drives me crazy is that they switch to Companions in chapter 15, the chapter where you meet up with Lyn's group, and chapter 16, at Castle Caelin. In my opinion, they should have kept playing Precious Things for those 2 chapters. After all, they take place in Lycia and fit story-arc-wise with the previous four chapters, and it would have greatly balanced the playing of map themes throughout the game. I really can't understand why they would choose to start playing Companions at chapter 15 instead of continuing to play Precious Things for the next 2 chapters.
