Misses Elise-chan!
I have Claire, that's how far I am. Did some grinding and wasted all my speed boosts equally between Robin, Alm, and Luka. How is promotion different in Gaiden compared to other games?
Book of Ereshkigal
Promotion brings the unit up to the promoted class's base stats. If the unit already has stats above the promoted classes' bases, they just get +1 HP or something, IIRC Edited November 9, 2014 by L95
Tryhard
As above, it's not really a bad thing to promote early. Most of the time I'd say do it as quick as possible. The only difference is that mages and clerics gain spells at certain levels and it'll add to their level in their promoted class to get some spells if you care about that. http://serenesforest.net/gaiden/characters/magic-levels/
Ishi
Yeah I believe the first three games follow the promote to bases. So yeah go ahead and promote cliff already xD
Topazd
Yeah I believe the first three games follow the promote to bases. So yeah go ahead and promote cliff already xD I think in FE3 that only applies to the character's HP and Wlv, every other stat is increased in the more familiar fashion. Yes, that' correct. Still best to promote as soon as possible because of the low caps.
