Kuru
Hey, fellow FEmblemers. I have a few questions for any FE experts out there. From all the Fire Emblem games that have come out so far, which ones actually have their own world? And which ones are part of the same world? I ask these questions because it would really help me out with my FEA fan fic. Thanks for any info given. :)
Anacybele
I can tell you that. Here are the different worlds and the games that take place in them. Archanea/Ylisse and Valencia/Valm - Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light - Gaiden - Mystery of the Emblem - Shadow Dragon - New Mystery of the Emblem: Heroes of Light and Shadow - Awakening Jugdral - Geneology of the Holy War - Thracia 776 Elibe - The Binding Blade - The Blazing Sword Magvel - The Sacred Stones Tellius - Path of Radiance - Radiant Dawn This should be correct unless Jugdral is in the same world as Archanea/Ylisse and Valencia/Valm, which I'm not sure of. Kuru
Many thanks, Anacybele. :) This should really help me out. I hope you see how this information comes to play in the story. It won't be hard to miss. ;)

Jugdral was an advanced country, whereas Archanea barely held any level of civilisation. At this time, the dragon tribes of Archanea were deciding on how to handle the human race." You also forgot BS Fire Emblem. Edited December 21, 2014 by Rabbattack

Sentacotus
My FE history is a bit spotty but I'll give it my best shot Archanea/Ylisse and Valencia/Valm Shadow Dragon (FE1/FE 11): First game with Marth in his quest to recliam his lost kingdom and defeat the shadow dragon Meduse. Takes place in Archanea. FE Gaiden (FE2): Second game in the series centered around Alm and Celica takes place on the continent across from Archanea, Valencia New Mystery of the Emblem (FE3/ FE12): Direct sequel to Marth's story where he is betrayed by Hardin and leads a campaign to unite the continent as the "Hero King" Geneology of the Holy War (FE4): Although the 4th in the series chronologically takes place before Marth's time. The continent is the same as Archanea but is called Jugdral at this time. Takes place in Jugdral (different continent same world) Thracia 776 (FE5): A side story/sequel to Geneology Awakening (FE13): Set thousands of years after Marth and follows Chrom, Robin(Avatar), and Chrom's future daughter Lucina as they seek to prevent Grima's rise. Takes place in Ylisse and Valm. Chrom and Lucina are descendants of Marth and wield the blade of light Falchion. Elibe FE Binding Blade (FE6): Story about Roy and Liliana and how they fight against King Zephiel of Bern and the Dragon Army with the Sword of Seals. FE Blazing Sword (FE7): Although its the 7th installment its the prequel to Binding Blade. Story about Eliwood (father of Roy), Lyn, and Hector (Father of Lilliana) and their fight against the Black Fang and Nergal. Magval FE The Sacred Stones (FE8): Story about Ephrahim and Eirika. In its own world unrelated to any of the others. Tellius FE Path of Radiance (FE9): Story about Ike and the Greil Mercenaries as they help Queen Elincia reclaim Crimea from Daien in the Mad King's War FE Radiant Dawn (FE10): Direct Sequel to Path of Radiance set 3 years later. Follows the turmoil that follows the Mad King's War. Main characters are Ike and Micaiah. I know some of this is a bit inaccurate and you may want to check on Sacred Stones, Geneology, and Thracia 776 since I'm less familiar with those titles and I know nothing about the Berwick or TearRing Sagas. http://fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Emblem_series Edited December 22, 2014 by TacoMan42

She could easily be promoted to such, but Guenivere, although an NPC outside of trial maps, is far more important in the game's plot. Also, I could go crazy explaining everything about FE6 in a rage of fangirlism, but you scraped the bones enough so I'll hold restraint. For now. Sentacotus
Yeah I've never played it or got my hands on it so reading the wiki is all I have to go off of right now and my experience playing FE7.
Kuru
Thanks, TacoMan42. You went through a lot to give me all those details. As I said, I've only played like five of the games, and I knew some of them were connected in a way that they took place in the same world. But I knew there were other games with different worlds that have nothing to do with other worlds. This I needed to know in order for my plot to work well. I thank you kindly for the effort you put in giving me this info, and I also thank all of you others who also replied. Kudos to all of you. Jave
BS Fire Emblem was released in Japan for the Super Famicom as part of the Satellaview attachment. The maps were also remade and included in FE12.

Jave
For the record, (Jugdral spoilers) FE5 takes place during the events of the second half of FE4. The first maps of FE5 start at some point before FE4 Ch6, and keep going until both games meet. The last part of FE4 Ch7 happens simultaneously with FE5 Ch19 and Ch20. Then, both games keep going until you take over Manster in FE4 Ch8, where the last four maps of FE5(three if you don't get a Gaiden) take place. FE4 continues to the end after that. Roxas
But how does that all factor in into the Awakening characters knowing about these "heroes of legend" in the first place? :o
Sentacotus
But how does that all factor in into the Awakening characters knowing about these "heroes of legend" in the first place? :o Well Chrom and Lucina are descendants of Marth and wield the same blade as him they also rule the remanants of his kingdom now called Ylisse. Consequently, they also know vaguely of Tiki (I think). As for how they know of Ike and the legend of the "Radiant Hero" anyone's guess is as good as any. Kuru
As for how they know of Ike and the legend of the "Radiant Hero" anyone's guess is as good as any. Wait. Where is this mentioned in the game? O.o
Sentacotus
Wait. Where is this mentioned in the game? O.o Paralogue 23 Garden of Giants its a spotpass chapter at the very end. You face off against Priam, who is a descendant of Ike and his army.

(I do need to finish them all) Well, thanks for clearing that up.
Anacybele
Uh, did everyone forget that Ike himself was in Ylisse? That's how they know of him. xP But I think someone else might've been with him or came there as well from Tellius. Ike doesn't strike me as the kind of guy that would go talking about his legendary deeds to random people he just discovered. He didn't seem to care for his fame. Oh, Chrom also knows of Elincia. He mentions this when he picks up Elincia's Einherjar card. Hmm... :P Edited December 22, 2014 by Anacybele

Magical Glace
But all that has to do with extra DLC, right? Not as in...the FEA story itself.Ike is mentionedin Priam's paralogue. This isn't paid DLC, it's spotpass stuff. Totally canon. The paralogue implies Tellius was before Jugdral, iirc. Paid DLC does show that Chrom is well aware that Elibe and Magvel existed. He recognizes Roy, Eirika, etc.

XD Ah my mistake I thought because the continents looked similar that they were the same. Too bad we don't see Jugdral in Awakening. Yeah, too bad. Would have been a bigger world, perhaps with more to offer storywise and/or extra contentwise.
