Dragoncat
Look what they did now. Pretty much, some chick 3d scanned her lady parts and made a kayak out of them. If that wasn't weird enough, the country actually has a holiday dedicated to manhoods where you can buy artwork and even CANDY shaped like that, and they're saying this lady's va jay jay boat is too pornographic and criminal charges should be filed. Japanese porn, as we know, either has the genitals blurred out or replaced with tentacles. Yet there can be a dick festival and nobody cares? Double standard if you ask me...I mean this lady might have a few screws lose, because I certainly wouldn't want my womanhood made into a kayak for the world to see, but yeah... And no, I didn't find this on the wierd part of the internet, it was on the news thing on facebook...why it was there I have no idea. Lord of Gabriel Knight
I think it's utterly laughable that Japanese law censors pornography in the way that they do. Nudity is a natural part of humanity, and calling it obscene is just prude. I hope this starts a chain reaction that gets the laws modified to not be as strict as they are. And the fact that they're much more lenient on male nudity is just unfair to women. I mean they have an entire PENIS FESTIVAL.

I mean they have an entire PENIS FESTIVAL.yeah this is the part that gets to me if it was enforced equally then I wouldn't care as much but people can celebrate dicks with dick lollipops and giant dick statues while a woman can't even have a vagina boat? It's not like it's outright displayed to the public either

Draco
Japanese porn, as we know, either has the genitals blurred out or replaced with tentacles. omg ...so she's swimming in pussy? OMG Nah, but that's not quite right. There's a dick festival, everyone has a grand 'ol time. Some woman swims in a vagina boat, everyone pisses themselves. That's... not really fair. Okay, so nudity is a very basic part of life. Everyone's got something "down there" ('cept for the mutants, but I digress), and to arrest someone because of it is just... well, dumb. Ironically, the laws were not of Japanese origin. They were introduced by American design during the Meiji Restoration. They just stuck over the decades because of Japan's traditionalist mindset. We need to end this oppressive cooter control! Down with the mosaic mutilation of magnificent meat! :O
Loki Laufeyson
The prudishness of the OP makes me chuckle heartily. However, i do not understand why someone would punish that lady for her art. Prudes...
Dragoncat
The prudishness of the OP makes me chuckle heartily. However, i do not understand why someone would punish that lady for her art. Prudes... We could argue forever about what's art and what's not...I for one think it's less of art and more of..idk. Art to me is something you look at and enjoy, not sit in and go paddling down a river. Games/literature/movies/music are art, they fit the look at and enjoy category. But if there can be statues of naked men considered art, then yeah. Like I said in the OP I personally wouldn't make something like that. But she has and she has every right to do so. She's not hurting anyone. The Japanese government is being a bunch of jerks, possibly sexist jerks since they allow the dick festival.
