eclipse
naw, someone poisoned his meadIn this play log, everyone chugs non-alcoholic drinks. Now that I don't have to run to the bathroom so often. . . Chapter 16 - How not to steal So many empty spots. . . Priscilla realizes how scrubby I am, and takes pity on me. If Hector moves here on turn 1, and equips a Steel Bow, he'll be able to force the swordie to get lost, while taking out two pegasus knights. YEEHAW! Tiding me over until I can get some proper siege weapons. This is the last time they appear until near endgame, so I grab a couple. Through the power of Merlinus, Rebecca is back in action! Rigging required: Priscilla doesn't eat a crit. Numbers burned for this purpose: None. . . .but if I burn three numbers and then attack with Erk, he'll hit. So I burn the numbers. This might be helpful. Hector's getting too comfy with his "in" status. He's setting a bad example for Matthew! Wil is going to endgame! And so is Sain~! Kent is not. Fuck you too. I think he's trying to show off for Priscilla. I also think I'll support them. Eliwood senses a rival, and rises to the challenge. So, after a map full of goodies, what did I end up with? Whoops. I think I accidentally killed the dude with the Knight Crest. Edited January 22, 2015 by eclipse
B.Mage
I loled at Florina Kent and Lowen are decent sice fliers LETS GO SAIN! also, be careful for the next chapter, one of the green units attacks the extra! Fateborn
You WILL need goddess icon. NONE of your units GAINS luck (except maybe Ninian?) unless you give them stimulator, even then it's only 15% luck. You're going to have to work for luck items. eclipse
I loled at Florina Kent and Lowen are decent sice fliers LETS GO SAIN! also, be careful for the next chapter, one of the green units attacks the extra! And froze my game. (Klok plz) If I really need to fly, I'll probably deploy Lowen, since he's slightly bulkier. Of course, I COULD get Legault. . . Those greenies didn't make it anywhere near the Extra! You WILL need goddess icon. NONE of your units GAINS luck (except maybe Ninian?) unless you give them stimulator, even then it's only 15% luck. You're going to have to work for luck items. (stealing, looting, preventing others from getting it) I really needed the Speedwings, because Hector's ability to double is nonexistent. Could've also used the Knight's Crest, too, because I'm fielding two Cavaliers. Chapter 17 - Remember that screenshot is bound to the space bar! My goals for this chapter were to pick up as many items as possible, while recruiting Raven and Lucius in a timely manner. Thanks to the fact that I have a properly-leveled Priscilla, I can have her run ahead of everyone, allowing her to recruit Raven quickly. I also gave her Chapter 15's Angelic Robe, which helped her survive a rather sticky spot in this chapter. But enough rambling. Here, I'm forced to use Nosferatu - normally, I'd conserve that weapon for those times that I need to heal, but this is his only two-range weapon, and that armor needed to die. Any level with Strength is a good level for Matthew! Those thieves will be properly thanked for saving me two lockpick uses. This is Matthew's appreciation. And this is Priscilla's input. Gotta love her new growths! If only vanilla Eliwood rocked this hard. . . The strategy for this boss was as follows: 1. I use a save state. 2. If Eliwood hits, Priscilla rescues him, and Sain drops him to the left of Hector, so Marcus can heal him (if necessary). 3. If Eliwood misses, I reload, because the boss heals way too much HP for me to afford such things. Eliwood does not approve of boss-chipping. Eventually, I hit a crit, and the boss dies. This enemy holds a Luna. I have a Sain. Therefore, this enemy must die. The boss deals 11 damage, twice, to Hector. Hector, in turn, MAY deal some damage to the boss. Either way, the boss can't kill Hector, so all's well. I use a similar rescue-drop strategy for this enemy, but don't bother reloading on misses. This is my ticket to leveling Lucius. I found a string of numbers that allowed him to hit (for those of you who care, I burned six numbers). TRAP CARD ACTIVATED. Time for the cavalry to shake in their boots~! With the new arrivals, I have 6/10 slots filled. I'll deploy Raven on the next map, and hope that Cameron doesn't Steel Sword his ass out of existence. Then I'll know whether or not I'll have a Raven/Lucius/Priscilla support triangle.

eclipse
Keep in mind there's 15 slots on the final chapter '3' Yep~! And the five forced guys will be used~! Which leaves ten more slots to be filled (no I'm not killing off Ninian or Nils, I have. . .things I need them to do). Speaking of. . . Chapter 17x - You know you have a winner of a LP when there's less than ten screenshots To start things off, we illustrate why Priscilla is goddessly. . .godly. . .erm, next! Uh. . .whoops? But no one's in danger of dying, except for Rebecca. . .for very low values of "danger". Alas, Raven wasn't quite good enough to join. Priscilla shows her brother how it's supposed to be done. Carnage, Rebecca-style. DAMMIT HECTOR! The other unit that needed to prove his worth was Canas. Unlike Raven, he did just that. This shop contains two things I like: heals and fires. The next chapter will be interesting. . .especially that time when I try to level Lucius and all.
B.Mage
That chapter was a huge fucking pain holy shit, fuck Damien and the Swordreavers Poor Raven, im trying to use him, but Eliwood is overleveled and Marcus is already level 20, and having 11 spots when you want to use 12 units in the next chapter makes you cry (im booting Marcus to see if i can do it without a healer) Good luck to you tho

There's. . .something that I'm looking for in the units that I choose. Canas has it, Raven doesn't. It's a pity, because the more staffbots, the merrier~! it'll be way worse in the final version '3' So I can't have Rebecca kill everything in sight? Chapter 18 The fighters that'll be sent out. Rebecca is capable of destroying everything by herself, so she doesn't get to come along on this training trip. First things first: Matthew makes me proud. . . .and Sain follows~! You won't be needing that~! Behold the power of ERK! For any other unit, that is a terrible level. For Erk. . .it is godly. If Legault refuses to cooperate, this is going to the war chest. MIRROR FORCE GO! Sain FTW~! Dammit Hector. Hello Mr. Wyvern, what are you doing so early in the game? And good riddance to you! But I held back! And a near-perfect level to finish that off~! Next up: Three units, oh my!
eclipse
This chapter went a lot faster than I thought. ;/ Chapter 19 MY TORCH STAFF! (no, I didn't employ the glitch, Marcus was too busy keeping my sorry ass alive) I guess she had to take a breather sooner or later. . . Runesword are immune to the weapon triangle at a distance~! Rebecca's set to stomp everything. The entire point of this map, in a single picture. Reminds me of vanilla Wil. This is not a bad thing. See these guys? They're assholes with a weakness to personal combat. Is this a good idea? Are the odds in my favor? A single hit would've been enough for a level, and Canas got it. He's not Erk, so that level is meh. The first of many Luna annoyances. Not the best odds. I need to land two hits to kill the boss. Once Lucius was done with a hit, I whisked him out of range. So. . .how many numbers do you think I burned? The correct answer is zero. Hail to the RNG~!

eclipse
That took. . .less time than expected. First, let's set the mood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Frml3KAVvyM Chapter 19x This is part of what makes this chapter so frustrating. These are Axereavers. And they're really good. . .in your hands. By utilizing all those Steel Swords I bought earlier, Fiora has earned a spot on my team! One more spot to go~! My formation after the first turn. Miraculously, Eliwood hasn't died. I'll, uh, take it! You're not Erk. . . I'LL TAKE STRENGTH! Wil decides that he's Ephraim. Priscilla's hitting the wrong end of her growths, but those are two stats that she appreciates. The shaman's reason for existing has been fulfilled. See that enemy near the village? If left alone, she'll bring it down. I want that item, so I send Priscilla and Dorcas after her. Erk and Canas need to switch levels. This is the scene after I sniped those stupid Axreaver thingamabobs. Fiora had it worse. The Rapier attacks from a distance, so Lucius has no problems sniping things to level up. In this case, he got a damn good one. I'll call this, uh, Sakuretsu Armor~! Canas refuses to be outdone. NICE! That's, like, better than every level Serra has obtained on this run, combined. Priscilla continues to get two relevant stats. Eventually I get bored and send Leila to the village. I had to kill the boss in one turn, or Kishuna would be a dick and leave. I decide to go up to Kishuna's group, and get some more experience. The snipers have 1-2 range, and so does the knight. Hmmm. . .who has a 3-range weapon? If you guessed Saber Hole, you were correct! I swear he's doing this to spite me. I accidentally flipped Stygian Dirge, resulting in a lot of -1 in stats. Only HP and Res escaped it! Wil kills the other sniper, and gets an amazing level. Erk and Priscilla talk about the former's previous nipple. . .erm, master. This fight is a lot more complicated than it looks. I need Leila to NOT be critted (or critted once and dodge). To alleviate the strain on Leila, I put Marcus in range. FSR, the AI will target him instead of her. OUT. NOW! Upon seeing such an awful level, Priscilla stole the kill and showed Leila how it's done. The next chapter is also headache-inducing. eclipse
. . .now I remember why I despise Chapter 20. First, the general gist of the chapter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GE-YXwXzwE Chapter 20 - Nine different save states total First things first, here's an unimpressive level by Lyn. Note to future players: DON'T DO THIS. Eliwood can get away with it, though. . . .and this is what Lyn needed to do. And didn't. Rebecca thinks Cameron is a scrub. STRENGTH~! That berserked Fiora has a Steel Sword. Yes, I'm worried! Rebecca on vacation. I had the foresight to pass Marcus the Restore staff. Fiora missed her Steel Sword shot. Crisis averted. OMG IT'S SPEED! OMG IT'S NOT SPEED! YOU'RE FORGIVEN! Matthew had to dodge one of two Flux shots, two Swordslayers (piss easy thanks to Slim Lance), and some offscreen Knight with an Axereaver. Flux had 70%+ hit each. Yes, I rigged it. Good night. And stay down! Erk's Skill is on par with Hector's Speed, and I'm not sure what's wrong with this picture. That's why I put that scrub to sleep. Uh. . .you hit harder now? Last I checked, Shin wasn't the one in charge of this LP. After much baiting and chasing (a lot of enemies on this map have 3 range, and that is NOT fun), this little pocket of resistance is all that remains. That's the Speed cap! Rapier OP. Dust Tornado activated, one Paladin gone! I suppose that wraps it up-- Almost forgot this! NOW we can leave! In the end, I decided to conserve my cash for the next chapter. Stat boosters are nice, but I would've been able to only afford one (the rest of my funds are going to weapons).

eclipse
This music you've linked is catchy. VERY catchy. I'm glad you like it~! I'll shove some IIDX music where I think it's appropriate. . . Yugioh references! . . .like right now, where someone gets a corny reference! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwWtyovln6s Chapter 21 - eclipse fails at the torch glitch So rather than watch me fail, you guys get a shot of this guy. If Hector has something like max strength and a +1 bonus from supports, he can one-shot this guy. Mine was. . .a little short. Matthew will appreciate this. All those enemies need to die, and Legault will be busy shopping. Canas is pictured because he dodged a Poison Lance. Unfortunately, it was at the cost of his weapon - Ninian is holding it. Eliwood needs a crit to OHKO. . .which I don't get, so I settle for nuking the enemy behind him, instead (after some rigging, because the next three hits featured both of them whiffing. . .at over 70% each). This is what happens when you shoot wyverns. Thanks to some fancy positioning, I get Canas' Killing Edge back. I take aim at this enemy, who has now outlived her usefulness. Canas agrees. Lyn dodged a Poison Bow~! Even if her avoid ain't the best~! So much for Reckless Greed. . . Legault, meet bench. Since I failed to get Kent or Legault, I will be going to Wallace's map. Luckily, Klok put a nice little mechanic in this game to make my choice really easy. . . DO WANT! I suppose I can sell this. Magic triangle? I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't get to see a hit rate? LAME! The highlighted square is where I will put Hector. He will be doubled, but thanks to his tankiness and Eliwood's support (A), he'll survive with health to spare. This will save me a trip up north. ELIWOOD SHALL DODGE EVERYTHING! Even though I'm shying away from the northern reinforcements, I can still get this enemy. FINAL TURN. Legault gets the dance because my goal is the southern village. Maybe Priscilla can find a use for this? Canas gives me some pocket change. Lyn stops being mediocre. I get a crit trigger (er, wait, wrong game) Thank goodness this guy wasn't in charge of the Cardfight! Vanguard anime. And Eliwood miraculously gains Skill. eclipse
Chapter 22 - We didn't start the fire I may have overdone it last chapter. . .nah. Since I'm not using Lowen/Kent/Legault, this is now funds. I save the bishop up there. He will be working for me. Two stats I care about. So much for the "God Bow". This chapter is one long clusterfuck. GO! GO! GO! So long, Body Ring. I like the gold better. YEEHAW~! A nice side-effect from this is that Hector gains Speed! AND MATTHEW GAINS STRENGTH~! Look, I know both of you were formerly purple-haired spellslingers, but those kinds of levels belong on Erk, not you! Oh, and notice how far up he is? I put Ninis' Grace on him, and had him tank the mages. He had to do some dodging, and it took not one. . .not two. . .but THIRTY burned RNs before he did. Heath will not be joining me today. "That's one step closer to not sucking" Isadora will join Legault on the bench. She had to crit to win. I burned something like six numbers before she did. Rigging pays. Bought a Physic, Torch, and Barrier. Eliwood hit the level cap, so it's time to promote him~!
eclipse
Chapter 23 - Why does Pent cause a Game Over? If Pent dies, you lose. Because of this, I brought Lowen, so that Pent wouldn't suicide. Fun fact: Base Lowen can take a ballista shot and live (I think it was the Killer Ballista). Also, unpromoted Erk has one movement in the desert. . . Eliwood EARNED this! Bye Marcus. I just put this in here because Rath amuses me. Start of turn 2. Fiora had to dodge everything but two attacks. One dodge HAD to be a Steel Lance. Pent also needed to dodge several things. I think I burned nine numbers for everything to fall into place. I have options, even if I don't crit. Fortunately, she did, and got a meh level off of it. Rath. . . Having a nice item to steal didn't save the Luna shaman, nor will it save you. That's an awkward party on the fort. Lowen is finally close enough to get Pent out of the desert. I pulled a Gryphon Wing. ;/ Rath's final use was to wait repeatedly on that spot until he picked that up. Merlinus got the White Gem. First Defense proc~! She's going to destroy midgame, I know it. Enemy on the fort won't move, so I use the time to pick up everything. I'll need that Earth Seal (whether it be for promotion or funds remains to be seen). Sain continues to impress. . . .and I made it~! I stole both boss items, and will liquidate the Gems. This should make Chapter 24 a lot less painful. The next question: How many Axereavers do I buy? eclipse
Enough for your lance users :v Edit: If you saw my first fe7cm lp, you'd know how important they are. There's. . .something called "enough Axereavers"? Not too many pictures here, because half my time was spent restarting the damn chapter. Chapter 23x - Now with an extra crit! Ninian had three jobs on this map. The first was to open this door. The second is to use Restore once, on whoever got hit with Sleep. The third use is to be hit by Sleep once the Sage realized what's up. The power of the Silver Sword~! Hawkeye is the final member of my team. This terrifies me just a little bit - his support list is near-nonexistent, for one. Erk shows me why I should've used the Skill Book elsewhere. I get a horrible idea. . . Kishuna is stunned by my audacity. . . .and then he runs. These Elves come with good presents. Additionally, I don't have to worry about that one Hero with 3-range. Wil earns his promotion! WTF is this MAGICAL UNIT with more bulk than speed?! By abusing the Axereaver I got from Legault, I was able to clear out everything except for this little Elf. I wish the original Genesis was this good. Now that I've got everything on the map, it's time to say farewell. Erk with his signature level.
