Melissa
Look at the unit I circled in green; it's almost identical to FE13's Dark Mages. I think we are going to stick with the traditional Dark Mage -> Sorcerer or Dark Knight path in this game. Though, I hope there would be more special classes that use Dark Magic, like how Izuka was handled in FE10. Anyway, I'd love to see some sort of Master Knight or Baron class return. I love the idea of having a class that uses all 4 melee weapon types. Master Knight? PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!
eclipse
Bring back the rest of the enemy monsters! Mauthe Doogs and their ilk were actually scary!
Light Master
If Master Knight and Barons come back i fear that Second Seals will be cut. Because everyone will reclass his units into one MK or Baron. Edited January 22, 2015 by Light Master
Book of Ereshkigal
Look at the unit I circled in green; it's almost identical to FE13's Dark Mages. B-but they have pants, unlike the bandits...
Leif
B-but they have pants, unlike the bandits... Hence the word "almost". In the teaser, the scene with the bridge and red-haired pegasus knight shows a new overworld sprite for enemy fighters. It could be the "pantsless" ones you are referring too. Apotheosis
Summoners, mounted units that specialised in certain melee weapons (sword paladin, lance paladin, etc), falcon knights that use swords rather than lances, light magic classes, rogues re-replacing tricksters... playable monsters? probably forgetting some but that's all I can think of for now. Fei Mao
I'd like to see balisticans and soldier return, generic replacements like in FE 11 would be cool.

Anything but the generic replacements! I detested them in FE11 since they were so terrible. Plus, faceless units on the player's side would be kinda creepy. Leif
...I was making a joke, not literally trying to say they weren't dark mages. I figured, no worries. This is the scene I was referring to earlier. Look in the bottom corner, there is an enemy unit holding an axe. It looks like he has exposed legs. I think that's how the bandit overworld sprite will look like.
Laurent
I'd love to see the Summoner class make a return. Now that they have a better engine (and presumably better AI) I feel like summoning phantoms could give a new dynamic to fights much like Galeforce did in FEA. I don't expect many new classes in this game, since I doubt they'd want to change what already works, but I had so much fun messing with the enemy AI in Lagdou Ruins that I wish they could reimagine the class. IGdood
Ballisticians. Now if only one of these days we get a nerdy Ballistician badass bookworm lord. Edited January 23, 2015 by IGdood
Kuru
Necromancer, like Lyon, if there weren't any in FEA. I want to see Manaketes too, and some Laguz from FE9.
Mirron
Yeah, I expect it to turn out like that. It's a shame too. I don't necessarily dislike Dark Mages, but I think they're less interesting than Shamans and Druids. I like the heavily robed outfits. Kirie
Dark Flyer, please. I don't give a shit about whether Galeforce comes back or is or isn't nerfed or whatever, but the fact remains that Pegasus Knights and their evolutions have always been my favourite overall classes, but I'm also super fond of using magical units, so a class that put them together was a match made in heaven for me. Otherwise, I guess I'm not too picky. But if we do get monster-like enemies again, I'd really like to see different types of monsters like the ones they had in FE8 (Mouthe Doog was boss, and those Eyeball guys always seemed to fuck me up), rather than "zombie", "zombie that gives more xp", and "regular enemy classes but no guys we're really zombies too". HowEE
I would love soldiers/halberdiers to return, and, Pirates would be cool, but if they do, there needs to be a Viking class that uses axes and anima magic (if anima magic is split, then definitely thunder and possibly fire). Light magic users need to return, especially bishops (I want my Moulder back. :( ) Barons and Masterknights would be cool, but... I wouldn't get your hopes up. :p Barons would especially be cool because I like bulky magic users, and nothing says tank more than great shield. I hope ballista return, but have archers/snipers be able to use them, so even players can use them. :D I like the weapon choices that RD gave to the mounted units, it gave them a lot of variety. I don't think there are any other "returning" classes that I would like to see, but I have a lot of ideas of my own. :p
CazTGG
The Pirate, of course (perhaps they could be the "Gaul" class given the Roman/Italian imagery we've seen thus far), and the Baron. Preferably the magic wielding variation.

Ambulz
Someone mind to have King as a Player Class ??? Seems kind of OP to me, but hey, go for it.
Kirie
Well, Elincia had "Queen" as her class in Radiant Dawn, so there's precedent.
nocturnal YL
Like many said, the monk series and the soldier series. I'd like to see a sword-oriented flier class too. Prior to FE13, I'd say this is how pegasus units should be split -- a lance branch and a sword branch (for the likes of Elincia and Tanith). Griffon units could have been this, though for some reason they saw it fit for them to use axes only while other fliers use two weapon types or staves. Book of Ereshkigal
Well, Elincia had "Queen" as her class in Radiant Dawn, so there's precedent. They're completely unrelated, and they're both personal classes anyway, so if 'king' came back, it could be pretty much anything.
Kirie
Yeah, mostly I'm just saying that it doesn't necessarily have to be OP just because it's the name of a royalty leader. Elincia certainly wasn't OP; I think her Queen class was pretty well balanced and well suited to her.
Roivann
I want Fighters, Barbarians, Brigands, Pirates, Corsairs, Axe Knights, and Axe Armors all to be in the game, and to serve distinctly different roles. They all should have unique promotions. Gibe Fire Axeblem pls. I would like to see Prince/Princess and Master Knight return, but not if the game handles class changing like Awakening did. I don't think that Master Knights would work at all in a game with branching promotion and the ability to keep leveling ad infinitum. Basically anyone who could be a Master Knight would be a Master Knight, unless some major changes were made to the class. Even if Master Knight's stats were nerfed, having access to every physical weapon type, anima and light magic, and staff utility is a very valuable ability.
