DomesticHausCat
I am interested in Re-proing a cartridge into an English patched FE4 cartridge. The only problem is that the SNES cartridge uses a super FX chip and so not just any cartridge will work. Or at least, this is what I've heard from an expert in the re-proing biz. I did some looking up on wikipedia to see if it said there what kind of chip it has, but it doesn't say there. My plan is to get a game with the same fx chip (preferably an American shaped cartridge) and then re-pro the game onto it. Does anybody know what kind of fx chip it uses? Or perhaps is there a reliable website that lists the kinds of super fx chips for SNES games like this one? Thanks.
Celice
Check out some SNES flashcarts and their support list. If FE4 is on there, and you can find out if it really uses a special extra chip or not.
Dr. Tarrasque
According to this there aren't any special chips. Edited February 12, 2015 by Sirius
DomesticHausCat
Oh wow! That's a relief. Now I could just grab a random sports game or something and it should work.
