Delphi Sage
Title. I really don't want to have to explain what "Maniac" means.
Nobody
Radiat Dawn has no maniac mode. In PoR, yeah they do. Not that much on the offensive side, but theirs defences are much better. Junkhead
"Maniac Mode" is really but a fancier name for Japanese Hard Mode, and it has only teeny tiny differences, like Edward & Leo being lvl 1.
Nobody
Oh yeah, there's that. In Japan, our Easy mode was called Normal, Normal mode was called hard, and hard was called maniac, but the differences are very minor.
Delphi Sage
"Maniac Mode" is really but a fancier name for Japanese Hard Mode, and it has only teeny tiny differences, like Edward & Leo being lvl 1. well, I use it to refer to FE10's hardest difficulty for both countries. So are enemies stronger on English Maniac? From what I've seen, the catalog doesn't state boss stats change according to difficulty, only that the first 7 bosses have lower stats. Florete
There is no "English Maniac." Japanese Maniac = English hard. So no, enemies aren't stronger, at least when compared to each other.
Delphi Sage
There is no "English Maniac." Japanese Maniac = English hard. Florete
I meant, "are Maniac enemies stronger than Hard enemies"?That doesn't give me enough information. Maniac only exists in Japanese, but Hard exists on both, so which version of hard are you talking about? If Japanese (so "are Japanese Maniac enemies stronger than Japanese Hard enemies"), then yes, maniac enemies are stronger than hard enemies. If English (so "are Japanese Maniac enemies stronger than English Hard enemies"), then no, they are not stronger.
Delphi Sage
Fine. Are ENGLISH Hard enemies stronger than ENGLISH Normal enemies?
dondon151
yes, hard mode enemies tend to be at a slightly higher level than normal mode enemies.
Gwimpage
and to throw you for a loop, enemies in 4-E were buffed (not sure by how much) in the English releases compared to the JPN version!
MisterIceTeaPeach
All the enemies are two levels higher than on normal mode. All the bosses have the exact same stats and pattern as on normal mode. In the final two maps the tails have exact the same stats as on normal mode. Radiant head
The enemies are slightly buffed, but I hardly noticed when playing. It doesn't really have much affect on your strategy as much as no weapon triangle and less exp gain will.
