[spoiler=Chapter 23 part 1]The lords wreck the enemies in Alicia.Siegfried want to move on, but the other two want to have a break.Kelik is worried that everyone is going to extend itself out and that Siegfried will get into another nasty situation like in Yulia's castle, when he was captured.Siegfried tries to justify with the fact that he lost his wife and got injured by his lack of initiative. He doesn't want to the same mistake again. His duty as a knight is to protect everyone as much as he can.Kelik explains that his overprotective acting can bring mistakes so finally Siegfried agrees with resting.Furthermore he asks him for Kelik's brother. He answers him that he works for Magnus and kills one of his biggest friends. He only wants to take vengeance on him for this happening.all the three pegasus knights are relatedintroducing herselfBLASPHEMY!!!Actually he can't even know her, because... he haven't talked to her yet (only seen her in one chapter, but he haven't known about her and her identity) he haven't got any information about her from any story conversations Cia wasn't treated like a princess so she didn't behave like one.new destinationno snow chapter :cBattle preparationsPromotionsStorm's promotion only for the show purpose. Idk why nomad troopers and rangers exist as two separate classes, although they use the exact same weapon types.Assassines have the worst promotion gains. Not even con.Heros don't get strength strangely. At least I don't need to use Ash anymore, because Shuuda will be better than him in each stat.RankunchangedMapChapter 23 starts as an outdoor map and ends as an indoor map. You must seize within 24 turns. Like already mentioned reinforcements won't appear. The enemies are mixed. Pretty much each class is represented, but they're not too tough. Introduction of new weaponsThe halberdier close to the boss has a 2 range killer lance, which has a very low accuracy though.Incredibly powerful but inaccurate anima tome. 35 attack!!! It'd TRKO most people and even OKRO Shon! Be careful of that!Boss is Ivan, a swordmaster with exact the same weapons like the previous boss. He's not too bad, because he only has 20 speed. Kelik and Tekun could double him, if they'll get speed. Kelik can even survive a crit. Lyam knows him so he might have a special conversation with him.You can bring everyone to this chapter. I leave the prepromotes Lyam and Asch (won't use him anymore) home. Still must promote Shon, Ben, Rex and Yue.AliceShe has very decent base stats and great weapon levels. Though I'm not going to use any prepromtes in this hack (except for Lyam as bow user) and I prefer the dracos much more. I assume that the three peggies can do the triangle attack. Wind sword will be very useful later, when I have to fight more dracos.Turn 1Player phaseEnemy phasenice, but again no magicaccidently removed her the delphi shieldat least speedYou can make this chapter a lot easier, if you can kill the enemies inside the castle through the walls. LunaticScreamer
Something interesting to note about chapter 22...any enemies with the Zero or Assassin affilation? They can trigger Lethality. I remember because that happened to me one time playing this chapter. All that makes the Swordmaster with the Wo Dao a VERY nasty enemy. High crit chance is just asking for him to ruin someone's day with a Lethality proc. That being said...I would highly suggest that if you have anyone you really want to train in chapter 23 (*coughcoughRexcoughcough*), you do it then. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chaper 23x]The epilogue of chapter 23They're going to split up.Not so away till the end anymore.Chapter 23xChapter 23x is a chapter, where you can shop and train your units in the arena. You've 10 turns time.I only show you the level ups and the promotions and tell you, what I bought.bullshit level up - promote him at level 18I've a second wyvern lord, who's almost as fast as Karina already. Only his defense is kinda lacking.Rex got alright level ups - also promote him at level 18Nice promotion gains especially the +3 in con. He can use axereavers without AS penalty and only loses 2 AS with a horseslayer.Shon hasn't changed at all and is still the worst unit in the entire hack.At least his promotion doesn't suck.that's ok - using Yua in the arena is pretty difficult, because he tends to get doubled by lots of enemiesmore "Tekun awesomeness"In the armories you can buy slim, iron, steel, silver, killer and reaver weapons. In the shops you can buy all sorts of tomes, staves (including barrier and physics). The armory at the top right of this map has tons of interesting weaponseffective weapons (against dragons)brave bow - the only brave weapon you can buyeh... too heavy - nopurge - didn't buy it, because I don't have light magic user, who can reach this rank. Anakin's level is still D and I'll use him as a dancer only.I bought killing edges killer lances zanbato short spear halberd dragonslayers physics mends light runes brave bow lance reavers axe reavers [spoiler=Chapter 24 part 1]Siegfried had a nightmare. He behaves very strangely lately. In the night:Suddenly a druid appears and wants to talk to Sieg so badly. It seems to be very serious.Obviously Sieg noticed this danger already. His teacher is Siegfried's danger.his nameTime for vengeance. He learned his lesson.Kelik tells Siegfried about his "meeting" with Fenix in front of Yulia's castle.[spoiler=I'm scared.]He's a joke boss :P Battle preparationsRankstill the same - idk why my funds rank is still so lowMapChapter 24 is a FoW map. The goal is to defeat Fenix. All the enemies in this chapter are second tier. You fight pretty much one enemy of each class. They don't have only good all around stats, but also they have very powerful weapons (wo dao, brave weapons...). Don't underrestimate them!RanaRana is a druid with decent stats. What's the different between a druid and a sorcerer in this hack and how to become a sorcerer?[spoiler=He has very powerful weapons with fenrir and eclipse]which will pose problems for him. Didn't check out the stats of fenrir. Turn 1I can only see the two magic users. Of course I'm going to kill them.Player phaseKelik completly lost his awesomeness from tier 1. His strength and speed stuck.Thieves have a better sight in FoW.Tekun is so OP!Two enemies are in Tekun's range. The general only has lances and won't do anything to him, who has equipped the lancereaver.Enemy phasethanks supports[spoiler=OUCH!!!] If I just had checked out the weight of fenrir... It's so incredibly heavy that he gets doubled by everyone.]I let him die. However I've replayed this chapter just to check out, if his survival will give me access to a sidequest. If he should be important for a gaiden, recruitment or a special weapon later, I'll use the savestate of my second playthrough of this chapter. Rana is recruitable with Siegfried and you must rescue and send him to the west in turn 1. Turn 2Player phasedon't pay attention on the critrate - he only has 13% hitstrength is maxed - best myrmidon / 10swordmaster with wo dao - he can't oneshot Althares with a critEnemy phaseA hero with a brave sword from nowhere. He can attack Kevin four times, but only hits him twice - shit level upI was really stupid here. The wind sword weighs Althares so much down that he gets doubled by the swordmaster. Thankfully he doesn't crit him, and even better, he only hits him once. The first time that the tent is destroyed. It happened quite often to me in DoF.Turn 3Player phaseRex needs exp. so badly.Emma uses the torch stave and a valkyrie and Fenix are in my field of sight now. These enemies are "reanimated". They have all good stats, but no luck.Fenix is a slayer, a special version of the hero class. He has maxed strength and nirvana a 2-range sword with 22 might (!). With his total power of 52 attack he can ORKO or TRKO everyone. However: An unit with >=24 speed, supports, decent strength and a killing edge or wo dao can easily ORKO him. Fenix can deal tons of damage, but he can't take it.another useless Anakin level upalrightEnemy phaseugh... it's the lance, which attack the resistance of the opponent - decent level upnasty killer bowThese enemies don't suck at all!Turn 4Player phase[spoiler=His worst]and final level up in this hack. Since his HP is maxed he stops leveling well.Have to change Shon's weapon, because this warrior will double and kill him, if Shon's has equipped the silvans. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 24 part 2]Now even Kelik has trouble to double.typical - if he got strength I'd be very satisfiedTekun checks out, if Fenix will move.Enemy phaseShon can dodge - impressive It won't be fun to give him levels... brave bow - thankfully it only hits onceTurn 5Player phaseI showed the stats of this bow in the previous chapter. As powerful as a silver bow, but very heavy.Look, how much damage Tekun does! Only one crit and a regular hit would be enough to defeat him. He'll get attacked in enemy phase.Enemy phaseSpeaks to himself.114 DAMAGE - MEGAOWNED - GO TO NIRVANA!And he continues leveling well. He hasn't got one single weaker level up after his promotion yet. DH-NINJA RULEZ!!!R.I.P. weaklingGEEZ - his big boss appears.nothing more to addno last minute sacrificehaha...simple introductionHe reanimated and twisted the enemies in this chapter.OH SHIT!!! I think he isn't just babblingNice damage, but it's not quite enough... BTW Lahar has unknown HP. super-awesome-crit animation... and there he goes.[spoiler=Poor S(h)on]I wished he'd be killed instead. Kelik is in "rage mode".And you'll pay for that![spoiler=Indeed]It has consequences for the next chapter and for the rest of the entire hack. I'll give a statement about this after I've completed this hack. Anakin in stunned too. This reflects perfectly the three main lords. Shon and Anakin are weak (furthermore Anakin is naive) while Kelik is the only one, who shows courage and self-assertion. And I'm not only talking about the levels and growths of these characters (which only confirmes my statement). Without Kelik they would be helpless.Revenge will follow!Meanwhile inLahar brings the "great" news.He literally jumps for joy.Don't celebrate too soon!almost beatensee ya till the final chapter I guessemergency plantypical self-reproachesAt least Kelik notices shortly that it wasn't preventable. While Anakin still quarrels with himself.^^ That's a battle call! I've completed chapter 25 already with my first savefile. That means R.I.P. Rana.
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 25 part 1]The morale is bottom, but the hunger for revenge is top.remaining bossesBattle preparationsRank MapChapter 25 is an indoor map. You'll notice the difficulty spike. All the enemies in this chapter are >= level 9 second tier with serious stats and very good equipment: silver, reaver, killer and effective weaponsFurthermore there are a few new weapons:a not very powerful, but accurate bowBolting sage, who's trapped in this treasure room. Not too hard to avoid him. Moreover there's a bishop with ray (= purge) in the area next to the boss.Speaking of boss. This chapter features even two bosses:Frederick, a general is a miniboss. He stands in front of the mainboss, so he's going to move probably. He has maxed defense and very high strength. Furthermore he's pretty fast with 20 speed. Thankfully he only has lances so Tekun with the lancereaver won't have a hard time with him.The mainboss is Lanmark, another general with 24 (!!!) speed. Currently Tekun is the only one, who's able to double him. Another thing which makes this boss very tough is the light rune, which prevents him by critical hits. Althares is a fair way off to have the speed to steal it. So this bossfight won't become an "oneturner" like Fenix was. At least the lancereaver and armorslayer will do quite nice damage to him and I still have Anakin as dancer. The goal is to seize the throne. It'll be a very long and tedious chapter, because the enemies are very powerful and tons of reinforcments will try to make my life more miserable. However it's the sort of challenge I was waiting for the entire time. This chapter won't be done in like 5 turns; it'll need 3 parts at least.Important: You can't bring Shon to this map, because he's still in a shock. And that's the point, where I must let out my huge anger: Shon has very bad stats currently and this chapter would be so good to give him some levels. The thing is that his current speed of 15 is so low that he'll get doubled by lots of enemies in the next chapters. Using him is incredbly hard and he can die so easily. If he dies => Game Over Seriously I'm absolute tired to baby this dude till the end of this hack. Either his growthrates must be fixed, or he can be still brought to this chapter. Turn 1Player phaseFirst obstacle: A couple of long bow snipers, who can attack my units in this small path. Lyam is the only one, who can take them out.Despite the low hitrate, he can kill the first one with a crit.Emma uses barrier on Eduardo, who'll decoy lots of enemies. One of the paladins has a runesword.Enemy phaseThese enemies don't suck! Eduardo has even trouble to double the halberdiers. The good thing about the high enemy levels: This chapter is an "exp. gold mine" for my units!Turn 2Player phasenot the stats I wanted to seeYES!The first of tons of Tekun level ups in this chapter.Anakin x Yue C-supportYue: Anakin, I'd like to read some texts on battle tactics, if you wouldn't mind lending me an ear.Anakin: Ah yeah... you did mention that... Hm... I uh... well... I suppose we can try...Yue: Titled "Effective Use of Choke Points", this book details the intricacies of how to adequately position ones units in a small corridor as to maximize their survivability as well as counter damage... It begins by starting on page 3 of 702 that the most efficent...At least he's interested in fighting...Yue is the only one of my team, who isn't promoted yet. Though it'll change soon. I definitely want to bring a dark magic user to the endgame.Again I've to turtle a little bit, because enemies are everywhere.Enemy phaseTurn 3Player phaseRune sword must go away at once. His first good level up as a "legend"!Tekun x Karina C-supportKarina: Tekun, watch your footing! With your boots so old and ragged like that, I'm surprised you can even stand-up straight...Tekun: Don't worry about me. You should watch your own footing.Karina: Uh well, I suppose I should, but...Tekun: ... Flying. Right. You don't have footing. ... My fault.Tekun is even more OP now! He also could get the B-support with Althares, but I'm going to build the A-support with Kelik. Thanks to the boots she can reach and eliminate the bolting sage very soon - one main problem less!blehnoEnemy phaseShe needs speed than everything else, so it's ok for me.His last level up I guess. Only brought him to weak the enemies. Both heros have an abysmal defense. At least Shuuda has skill and speed. The stats she needs.Turn 4Player phasepapercut herosno more long bow shitYOU NEED SPPEEEDDDD!!!!!one HP left - thankfully physic will save the dayIt's ok, but ne also needs speed. Slow, but steady he'll get into "double-territory".Althares, Kelik and Tekun decoy the warriors in the east of this map.Enemy phasenice - silencer kills will give him a full leveldodges like a legendphysic bitch[spoiler=Frederick is leaving the map. Only Lanmark as mainboss is left.]My mind tells me that I could get Frederick... MisterIceTeaPeach
I'm sry for this long delay, but it's a little bit chaotic for me atm.[spoiler=Chapter 25 part 2]Turn 6First reinforcements... on bad spots for me.Player phaseThis area is danger zone. Still lots of enemies and Kelik is almost down. Emma must use physic on him.Tekun levels further and further... and none of his levels hasn't been mediocre or worse yet.thanks silencerOne hit with the brave bow is thankfully enough. Lyam becomes more and more a problem child. Can't double most of the opponents anymore.I can live with luck and defense.Enemy phaseTurn 7Player phasewarrior reinforcements - this chapter will take a quite whilemagic and especially speed - YES Must block Yue with Anakin, because he'll still get doubled and ORKOed by these warriors.also more paladin reinforcements here - still waiting for speed for like an eternalMaybe he'll reach the maximum level in this chapter...Enemy phaseTaste the axe in your face.Currently the enemies do a great job at hitting me with abysmal hitrates.Turn 8no reinforcements for nowPlayer phaseNow, the "Emma roll" begins. He loves the stats I love the least.Yue powering level up continues. I'm very worried that he won't cap it anymore.Finallly she gets the speed I was waiting for the entire time. She could still max it out theoretically.Yue's promtionNo magic gain, but three +3 speed. More than an equal. Now he won't get doubled by the most enemies anymore with using flux. Futhermore he has E-level is staves.Enemy phaseTurn 10Player phaseOne more speed and he could steal the iron rune from the boss.I try to give all the kills to Yue.C-support Kevin x RexRex: Hey, Kevin!Kevin: Hello, Rex...Rex: Are you okay? You should focus on the battle though.Rex: Yeah, you're right...Kevin: Trust me, I know from experience... Without focus you will maek mistakes.Rex: Yeah, you're right. Time to focus.Enemy phaseTurn 11Player phaseAs long it's speed, it's okay for me.This hero with the light brand is by far the most annoying enemy in this chapter so far.HP-sauce twice in a rowI must give the kill to someone, I don't want to.Tekun can ORKOes almost everyone.I guess the same like afa drop!?Turn 12Player phaseAll the stats I like to see. Finally a decent level up for him.Enemy phasethis time no critYue's resistance isn't the best yet, if he can't even take two hits by anima magic. At least he can double.Shuuda can't take two hits by anyone.Yeah, more reinforcements - Lyam will get into serious trouble, because I've no healer and any healing items in this areaAt least he gets strength finally, but he needs speed now too.Turn 13Turn 13 already and it's still a very long way to the boss.Player phaseswordmaster speed cap > 30Must use the 1 range sword to lower the hitrate of the hand axe paladin.alrightWhy hasn't she been that great before?Enemy phaseHe should get out of here at once..Turn 14two more paladin reinforcements - very bad news for Lyam, who cant escape of themPlayer phaseanother silencer... and a great level up [spoiler=He could steal the iron rune now]which I won't do, because I want to have a "real" bossfight. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 26 part 1]No you can't! Get away! The douchinators have at least one same target like the rebel army....I know two of them now. Battle preparationsRankLiuke's promotionHe's a transporter now, which means that can be moved.MapI accidently cut out one tile, so this map isn't quite correct Chapter 26 is an interesting map. You've to seize four castles within 72 turns. Three are generic enemies and the fourth one is the real boss. There's only one path you can go, so you should beat these bosses and seize the castles in this order:Boss #1Hero with a light sword. Not too tough, if an unit has >=28 AS. He drops the (probably) best light tome in this hack. You can beat him in seize the castle in the first turn already.Boss #2General with high HP and defense. He only can uses axes. Not too tough, if you have an armorslayer.Boss #3Druid with luna and silence. He's very powerful and silence is annoying, but he can be easily orkoed.Boss #4Holton is a reaperknight. He has better caps than a paladin in each stat, including movement. He has maxed out everything except for luck and (probably) the best axe in this game obsidian. He has a total attack power of 53. However both weapons weigh him down, which means that a very fast Kelik and Tekun (already is) can wreck him with the zanbato.[spoiler=Be very careful of him]because he'll move, if someone is in his attack range, although he's placed on a gate. You don't have to seize all the castles at the same time till the end of this chapter. If you've seized it, it'll be enough. The seized castles can't be reconquered by the enemies. These druids have munio, which+ gives you a defense, luck and resistance boost of +20- is very weak, inaccurate and heavyIt's more for defending, if a dark magic user is in lots of enemies attack ranges. The other enemies are >= level 10 and have powerful weapons. Silver, effective, killer etc.[spoiler=The (probably) best lance in this game,]which I won't be able to get unfortunately. Kelik, Anakin and Shon (unfortunately !!!) are forced for this chapter.I give the angelic robe to Shuuda, because he can't even take two hits with his low HP and shitty defense. Ben uses the alpha drop.a couple of long range magic usersTurn 1first task: beating the first bossOne crit is enough to beat the first boss and Tekun continues with his awesomeness. No single mediocre level up since he has been a swordmaster yet.Now his res. is as high as his def o.oKelik seizesand just does a generic speech.Enemy phaseWell... obviously the heroslayer isn't only effective against the lords...Turn 2first reinforcements from the forts => must block themPlayer phasea horrible start so farthat's oktickling boss #2I'm considering to restart this.strength is maxedtake the strengthReinforcements are defeated, but I couldn't block any of these forts.Enemy phaseThis boss will be down next turn.hi rayTurn 3Player phaseYue does a good job in killing boss #2... but not at leveling. TheMoniker
Ah, I was too late... Ah well, looks like you're going it alone! Magnus? [spoiler=I didn't get any problems with the NPCs and the new ally in this chapter.] However I missed the leviathan, because I had a very hard decision to make in this chapter later. I'm not sure if I shall replay this chapter, because I definitely need good weapons. Since I'm out the entire weekend and won't update, I might replay this chapter from a certain point. MacLovin
i think he means levion lol TLP is a pretty good hack. kind of a shame that most of the prepromotes are kinda underwhelming.

X-Naut
how did you miss the leviathan? Probably by not rushing hard enough and letting one of the NPC reinforcements get to Mr. Leviathan first.
MisterIceTeaPeach
how did you miss the leviathan? Answer: Probably by not rushing hard enough and letting one of the NPC reinforcements get to Mr. Leviathan first. also why are you not using prepromotes? Why should I? Asch has lower stats than Shuuda and Levion has lower ones than Eduardo. The prepromotes are only mediocre and my raised units from the beginning outclass them at least statwise. [spoiler=The only prepromoted unit I must use is Lyam, because I don't have an other bowuser.]And the one, who joins in this chapter. Tbh I never am a fan of using them except in earlygame. [spoiler=Chapter 26 part 2] Turn 4 Player phase Again reinforcement paladins with silver weapons. They seem to appear after each second turn. crit at the right time - goodbye ballista Also reinforcements here. One of the forts was blocked though - Shon's first and only kill in this chapter. alright Lyam gets the kill and a meh level up. His stats are bad. The reason, why I dislike most prepromotes so much. also goodbye ray - two nasty enemies are gone - only the bolting sage in the south-east is left Karina is maxed level now. Her stats are ok, but none of them is capped. I wished for 1-2 more speed points, but her speed growth in her first 20 levels just sucked. Enemy phase Karina can be used as Jagen from now on. She only shall decoy and weak the enemies. Ben misses twice. He needs Emma's support. Turn 5 Player phase Anakin can finally reach and seize the second castle. 50% done, but it will be a very long and tedious way to reach the remaining two. using eclipse just for fun - obvious result nice - perfect, if he had got speed Enemy phase great Turn 6 Player phase not much worse either Thanks to the support he's able now to take out this sage. sage reinforcement from this fort Enemy phase bolting sage - Karina can reach him in the next turn Turn 7 Player phase speed is nice The daytime changed. A cool and realistic feature. However there's no FoW (yet). You still can see all enemies on this map. no more long range magic in this chapter Enemy phase Turn 8 Player phase The power of munio - 1 damage to this druid (no damage to the other one, because he's on a fort). Giving him the afa drop paid well so far (excluding his first level up in this chapter). Turn 9 Player phase With supports he can do a bit more damage to them now - unfortunately no crit These druids are stationary. Enemy phase Turn 10 NPCs appear An ally, warrior Gary and two NPCs join. Gary You might know that I've a huge dislike to GBA fighters / warriors and prepromoted units. Though Gary definitely doesn't belong to these categories. His bases are just incredible for a warrior: capped luck and almost capped speed. This is the "perfect" warrior, I've dreamed the entire time! Of course I'm going to use him, because I don't have a real axe user anyway. Shuuda won't reach maximum axe level in time. NPCs Gary has two helpers on his side: a beserker and a warrior with decent stats and nice equipment (killer and brave weapon). Player phase not necessary... yet I'm a bit worried about your speed. Enemy phase NPC phase The NPCs have much trouble with this swordmaster in the thicket. Turn 11 Player phase [spoiler=Put it in the supply.]A big mistake! Enemy phase Since Gary has equipped the bow, the swordmaster leaves the thicket and attacks him - good news for my NPCs silence by the third boss NPC phase thanks killer bow Turn 12 1/6 is passed - it's FoW now. I keep my main team close together. Only Gary will decoy a few enemies, because he's almost untouchable. Player phase nice Emma restores Itsuke. Enemy phase A warrior with capped speed... and almost no chance get critted by a killer weapon... GODWARRIOR There's a bishop with the rescue stave, who saved this warrior. Physic bishop heals him furthermore. Good to see stave combos. only one more silence left 1 damage >_< the lords in this hack are so great Lots of reinforcements from nowhere attacked me. Turn 13 Player phase still 10 defense... Strength is capped already so I appreciate each skill and speed point. Enemy phase Shuuda keeps going with training his axe level. silence for the last time Turn 14 Player phase Miniboss #3 is down - only one castle with the main boss to conquer misses once Enemy phase He's surrounded, but he's a bitter struggler. more magic reinforcements - defense o_o NPC phase good NPC how did you miss the leviathan? MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 26 part 3]Turn 15Player phaseShuuda will stay on the fort till all the reinforcements are defeated.A good level up since skill is already capped. Hopefully he'll max out speed.I could bring him to axe level C at least. => he can use killer axes and swordreaversI don't want to complain about this regarding on his stats.Cavalier reinforcements (like I expected). They always appear, after a (mini)boss is beaten.75% doneI must block all the forts.Second unit, who has reached level 20. I mentioned it in the previous part already: The best warrior I've ever had.I'm waiting a bit till the fog disappears.Enemy phaseHe has capped all the important stats for being a hero. I only wished his defense would be much better. Even my two sages have already a better one, although they're about ten levels behind him.NPC phaseTurn 17Player phaseuseless and too late tbhgoodokBen is the magic tank.Turn 18Player phase25% of the turn limit is passed. It's daytime again, but the fog isn't gone yet.ok - want to see speed cappedThis swordmaster has a wo dao, but he can't oneshot Kelik, Tekun or Gary with a crit.Enemy phaseHe doesn't grant me the experience.NPC phaseThese NPCs steal me lots of experience and good weapons.Turn 19Player phasefield of sight after using the torch- the marked sage has dasherA-support Kelik x TekunTekun: I know you're there, Kelik.Kelik: Hm? What is it?Tekun: You're watching me again.Kelik: Well, yeah. I've thought for a while about what you said. Somehow, seeing you fight is... comforting. As much as I hate the feeling... as much as I don't want to feel it... I feel safe. Like I can trust you. And I'm having a hard time shaking it off.Tekun: Get off the fence commander. You must either trust me or don't. How many bodies does it take for you to decide?Kelik: Urgh... I... want to trust you, but I'm scared. But I... I'll do it anyway. You trust me enough to follow me, no matter how bad of a leader I am, or what flaws I have. I have to return that. Not because I don't want to owe you. Because you're my friend.Tekun: Do you know something?Kelik: Huh? Know what?Tekun: That you're a real softy beneath that wall you put up?Kelik: Oh please shut UP Tekun. You really know how to freaking get to me... Scre talking - I'll prove this my own damn way. When you find your father, bring me along ten times better than I could ever show with words.Tekun: By swinging a sword, right? I'll hold you to that my friend.Kelik: Good. If you didn't, it wouldn't be proving anything. Until then,i'mgoing to take my anger out on everyone else on the battlefield.Tekun: Oh? Your wall seems like it's been revived. Congrats, Commander.Kelik: Yeah, whatever. Let's go, Tekun.Tekun: Sure thing, Kelik.Anakin gets a kill - rare enough - his level up is ok. 14 magic is just a joke.Enemy phaseStrength and defense... but please max out speed!Damn it!Karina kills two nasty magic users.AAHHH!!! The boss MOVES! Thankfully she dodged the magic users...This will completly change my strategy.NPC phaseThe warrior with the killer bow attacks Holton and does 19 damage to him - not bad!Turn 20Ok... against all my expectations the boss moves. Thankfully he's on a spot I can trap him. Furthermore he has equipped the obsidian, which makes it much easier to beat him with my sword users. Tekun can ORKO him with a crit.Player phaseThe fog is gone. A crit would be enough.unfortunately notHe's trapped. Karina is healed, so she should survive him. Probably Horton will use the shadow sword to attack from two range.I've a huge problem here: Two reinforcement swordmasters appeared from the forts. They can double and kill Yue and oneshot Shuuda with a crit.Yue has only one safe spot. In the next turn he can't get out of their attack ranges, because thickets and a peak will cost his movement.=> I must finish this chapter in the next turn not to lose Yue. There's no other unit I could send to them.Enemy phaseShuuda can't even TRKO him.Holton kills himself. He attacked Tekun with the obsidian from close range for the reason with the chance to kill him (32 damage > 31 HP).Horton: T-Those damn senate... Always... ruining everything... But... don't think... you'll get away with this... Someone... will rise against you... and... the cycle contiunes... you'll die like me... Screaming... Scared NPC phase He kills the sniper with luxus. Turn 21 Player phase another ok level just for doing chip damage Yue is trapped - there's only one way to spare him... ... GET OUT OF HERE!!! (Thankfully Kelik has seven movement.) Unfortunately I missed a village... but it wasn't worth Yue's death. BTW I'm not going to replay this chapter just for the levianthan. Shit happens... and I think I'll be able to finish this hack without it. Edited September 24, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
TheMoniker
Wow, your NPCs actually survived an insanely long time. MisterIceTeaPeach
Wow, your NPCs actually survived an insanely long time. For me they just disintegrated a few turns in and I had to make Gary hide in the corner until my army got there. [spoiler=Unfortuantely yes, at the cost of leviathan.]I won't be so lucky in the next chapter unfortuantely. [spoiler=Chapter 27 part 1] Time for the showdown with Galagar. Anakin doesn't understand anything. Keep this information in mind! Battle preparations Rank Still the same like in the previous chapters. Formation Kevin and Rex are dropped (sry Lunaticscreamer), because they're too slow. Gary replaces Lyam as my main bow user. Map Chapter 27 is another indoor map. [spoiler=There are two paths to go.]The augury recommends you to go the right path, because allies will appear there later. There are lots of chests and many droppable weapons to get in this chapter. Some of the doors will be opened by the enemies later. The enemies are still about level 16-17 in average with powerful weapons. Most of them have 1-2 range weapons. There are three enemies with long range magic: Galagar Now it's finally time to kick Galagar's ass! He's not that powerful, but has maxed speed and luck and can use the S tomes of all three magic types: All his tomes are extremly powerful (valenst has 43 atk), but they weigh him down. His highest AS is 28 (inferno) and his lowest 19 (valenst). The thing: He has 200 evasion, which means no one has a hitrate against him. How to beat him? You'll see later! Jake returns. Maybe you remember on him from one of the early chapters. He's a blacksmith, who gives Kelik a nice sword: The arectaris is Kelik's personal sword has the exact same stats like the ragnell / alondite. However it's extremly heavy. Therefore it gives Kelik massive boost in speed and a decent boost in strength and skill. Unfortuantely it has "only" 30 uses. Turn 1 Player phase Kelik is full too. At least his strength and skill are capped, although I expected to see maxed speed on him too for being a Lyn archetype lord. These heros are taken down. I'm going to split my units in the next turn. Enemy phase His defense is great. First eclipse and bolting shot miss. Turn 2 Player phase no more eclipse - one movement more and he could reach the bolting sage old known strategy - decoying this bolting sage with someone on a spot, someone can attack him through the wall Maxing out three stats doesn't mean that you may get shitty levels for the rest of this hack. Enemy phase OH CRAP!!! He can rewarp himself. Bad news for some units like Shon. Turn 3 Player phase 2/3 of the long range magic users are down Meteor is awesome despite of its weight. The most accurate tome in this game. Shon's best level up in this entire hack so far. Does his promotion grant him new powers? Enemy phase Here he is! Still forgot to turn on Gary's battle animations. Why did I Levion bring to this chapter? You'll see later. Turn 4 Player phase Speed is the only thing he really needs. Myrmidon level up for a draco is pretty sweet. This is the point, where I failed with my plan to split my team. You must keep your units together. The only way to survive Galagar is to trap him with four units, who have enough speed to get doubled by him. Since I'm lacking on units here I must sacrifice my wagon. Another problem is that he has seven movement. He can catch up slower units like Yue or Itsuke soon. [spoiler=Galagar's appearance in this area also means that I must send everyone to the left path]which makes the recruitment of the NPCs later almost impossible. Enemy phase Wow - Galagar can't even kill a wagon He seems to be sated already :C Turn 5 Player phase I'm so sorry for Kitty. Enemy phase Galagar loves to surprise me. Liuke fulfills his job as decoying bird fairly. Edited October 2, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 27 part 2] Turn 6 Player phase nice stuff for Shuuda He stops leveling. delicious Galagar is trapped by Tekun, Gary, Levion and Karina. Enemy phase Sry old and wise man, but I had to do it. I wanted to break his support with Kelik to increase the Kelik x Althares support. I learned my lesson from a different LP. Sometimes you must make sacrifices to fulfill a higher target. Turn 7 Player phase = berserk more shit Eduardo's level up: defense Enemy phase He warps away. Now I can take a little breath. Turn 8 Player phase Since Galagar is gone (for now) I get by less pressure in this turn. I can send everyone further towards north-west. Enemy phase Turn 9 Player phase The most wanted stats. I can't kill this valkyrie. At least I can trap her with Emma, Ben and Eduardo. Enemy phase Oh... hi again! mage tank Turn 10 Frederick is back. He found his daughter and changed sides. The question: Who does protect you? Two NPCs appear in the north-eastern area of this map. Frederick Frederick has the exact same stats and weapons like he had in chapter 24. His stats aren't too impressive except for maxed defense and weapon levels. At least he has a bit of speed. Rachel Rachel is a level 7 sniper with meh bases. She's not only underleveled at this point, but her bases aren't great either. Her strength is bad and her low HP and defense make her a walking target. She can barely survive one enemy phase. At least she has a bow, which makes her less sucky. Good thing: They get a default B-support. Bad thing: Since they're pretty much on the other side of this map, it's nearly impossible to recruit them, before they'llget wrecked. Frederick's defense will allow him to survive a few turns, but Rachel is just a papercut. => I'm going to miss another great weapon. If I hadn't split my units and sent everyone to the east instead, I'd have got them probably. Maybe the RNG and the A. I. of the NPCs will be very merciful to me... Player phase another level 20 unit - everything except for resistance >=20 => good enough for me Galagar is surrounded again. Enemy phase He changes to the most powerful and heaviest weapon. Shon can take two hits!? o_o Good first enemy phase for Rachel. NPC phase two enemies less - so far, so good Turn 11 Player phase alright also level 20 - A great offensive unit, but his defense leaves to be desired. Enemy phase Look, what I said! She can't take any hits. The worst part: She used the winter bow, which weighs her down so much that she even get doubled by this druid. Thankfully she dodged him twice. Finally he hits... NPC phase Now I'm really excited, which bow you've equipped. Turn 12 Player phase Of course the A. I. sucks at this point. Equipping the winter bow makes it her automatic end. She even was so stupid and left the pillar and Frederick's support range for no reason. unnecessary B-support Althares x Kelik Althares: So Kelik, you think any about what I said? Kelik: What? You're kidding, right? Wasn't that just a ploy to get us to stop sparring? Althares: ... Wait, you knew? Damn, can't I slip anything past you, Kelik? Kelik: Heh. Gotcha. Althares: ... I'm going to pretend I didn't just let you bluff me into that. Kelik: Heh... this reminds me of back then... Althares: ...Huh? Back when? Kelik: Kain and I... used to pull pranks all the time. On passing travellers, in the market and even between ourselves. It was... fun. Althares: You? Pull pranks? You can't be serious. I LOVE messing around. Jokes, pranks, anything for a few giggles. After all, how do you think I got the skills of a thief? Kelik: I've stopped now though. We have a war to finish and I... don't have time. There's no time to fool around. I've got to get stronger. much better now Enemy phase The issue is over. You really asked for it. Turn 13 Player phase meh Enemy phase excellent At least the druid is gone. The entire family is... together again. Edited September 26, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
X-Naut
Those two are easily saved if you rush your party to the right before Galagar makes his first appearance in the southeast. Ansem
prostrat 10/10. most of my units had enough speed not to be doubled by galagar. i used a savestate to see who galagar would target, and i think he went after the same unit every time. i had emma heal from a distance with physics and had the rest of my team go up to save frederick. you did not lose much though. Barbarossa89
Been lurking for a while. I love this romhack. Galagar warps in a set pattern, so you can just make sure you are outside his range when you know he'll warp to a certain place. Of course, that doesn't help on a blind run, where not knowing his warp sequence is part of being blind.
MisterIceTeaPeach
I'm going to play the left chapters on a Skype call the upcoming weekend. This means it won't be 100% blind anymore, because other people might get me tips. Just want to have a few people around me who can see me sucking. [spoiler=Chapter 27 part 3]Turn 14Player phaseThis happens, when you cross a certain line in this map:He rewarps back on his throne. The worst part is over - the chasing has as end. But don't celebrate too soon:Ten reinforcements appear in the throne room. They're not only max level, but also they've very powerful weapons (brave + killer weapons, fenrir, rune sword...). You get all the weapons of them. The good thing: They don't move towards you all at the same time. They only will move, if someone is intheir attack range. But that's not all:Galagar got a massive buff. He has maxed stats overall, but his evasion is halved now. => It's possible to fight him.Kelik and Tekun can halve his HP with one crit at least. If you use the supports, he won't be too tough.excellentanother sword with infinite uses - Althares can keep itTwo enemies have 2 range weapons and will be decoyed on the wall.Enemy phaseThe hero with the divine sword misses Emma.Turn 15Player phaseMust train Yue's weapon level so badly to bring him to S.HP-sauce twice in a row - CONGRATS! I haven't count how many times he has had this level up already.Unfortunately no one else is able to kill him.Enemy phaseTurn 16Player phasenot too great for having the Blazer's dropThe generals don't move either. I must play step by step from now on; must pull the enemies out one by one.Enemy phaseTurn 17Player phaseexcellent againAlthares will pull the swordmaster with the killing edge out.Enemy phaseTurn 18Player phaseI forgive him this meh level up.another kill stealYa know what? I'm trying to train Shon from now on. Better now than never. However using him is superrisky, because he'll get doubled and killed by 90% of the enemies in this chapter. If he misses with the silvans twice => GAME OVERHis first two levels up have already almost as many stats as his entire 17 levels in first tier. Are his growths increased now?more offense powerEnemy phaseTurn 19Player phaseEven the long bow is too strong. Why did you have to bring me down to earth?Ok, back on the track.Enemy phaseFortify bitch ruins the day.Turn 20Player phaseIf he needs one stat, then it's speed. 17 speed just sucks combined with the silvans.not surprisingWith two crits he could bring his HP down to 20%. He'll get attacked in enemy phase.Enemy phaseawesomeBosstimeone crit - more than 50% down alreadyTurn 21Player phasevery usefulMaybe Kelik can finish him off. With his personal weapon he could do it.Galagar: Kelik... I don't understand. You're the same as me... why are you doing this? Kelik: No Galagar... I'm not. I know my life was ruined by one person alone... And I will take my revenge on that one person alone.I've already heard of your story, Galagar. You've killed so many people to avenge your one sister... And in doing so how many people have you made feel the same pain.Galagar: No! You're wrong. My sister died because of a foreign plague! And the people responsible for that are you of foreign lands! You should take responsibility for my sister's death! For Emporor Louis' family's deaths! Everyone's deaths! Kelik: Galagar... I may be a villain, but do you think yourself righteous? Because if you do, then with this sword. I shall slash the weigth of all your sins upon you!No, he can't! Tekun has to finish his job.He drops all his weapons: luminola, inferno, valnest and excaliburThis mission is called reach throne. I thought it's like a seize throne mission. However if Galagar is beaten, this chapter ends instantly. So it's bascially a defeat boss mission. The thing is that I haven't opened one chest yet. So I had to replay the bossbattle, after I had got the last chest:a must haveKelik confronts Galagar with a story:Kelik: Ten years ago in Valencia, a man became infected with a disease. It was cause by a mineral in the ground with a deadly gas fume. That man lived all alone in the woods and he soon became sick from the gas, nbwhich intoxicated the very ether in his body. He traveled to Magnus, hoping to find some magic that could cure him... But instead, the disease became like a virus, and started to infect Magnians. However, no one noticed, and the man ended begging the Emperor for help... Emperor Richard the Benedict was known for his compassion, and heard his plea. [...]Galagar: Soon the first doctor that scum had come in contact with became ill... Of course, by the time people realized what had happened...It was too late. Emperor Richard fell sick. My sister was an extremly gifted mage, despite only being 13. Our parents were too, but they had already passed away... And so my sister traveled to this very Palace. After being exposed to the toxic ether, she became sick as well. More and more victim came about: Lanmark, Holton and I. [...] My sister was all I had left, but because Rickard "the Benedict" showed that Valencian mercy, we all suffered! [...] If all of you other countries didn't have to bring us down, my sister would...Kelik: Your sister wouldn't have died. And neither would my best friend.Galagar: W-What...? Your brother killed him! I read your mind earlier!Kelik: ... Yeah, he did. But it was thanks to Magnus' order that he did. Galagar: Once it was found out that the man from Valencia had caused this, the Imperial Knights quickly took action to subdue and kill him. However it was too late before they could even execute him, he died. We knew that everyone else had a few more days to live. His majesty... Emperor Louis, hadn't been infected. [...] I was only 7, but I still understood everything: the senators set fire on the woods the Valencian had traveled to get to Magnus. They would blame the Emperor's death due to heart failure, and Louis only 20 years old, would become the new Emperor. [...] Kelik: And so Leon... and so the bastard... who shares my same blood... set the woods---my best friend's and my home---on fire. [...]I don't hate you, and I don't hold you responsible. I'm fighting against you because there are people out there, who suffered just like you and me but don't have the power to fight.Galagar: [...] The nacklare of yours. It's an enterium isn't it?Kelik: Yeah, it's.Galagar: It's just like Selica and I... [...]Kelik: I've no right to preach you... but we took different paths.Galagar: My sister, Selica died to a mass-mureder from Valencia. [...] The pink eye of mine... is an etherium. (I just realized when I read it. Galagar's left eye is blue and his right one is pink.)Kelik: Where's the Emperor, where are the Senatoes... and where's Leon?Galagar: They've already fled... all the way to Blaine.Kelik and Anakin are shocked about these news, because they made all the way to Magnus for almost nothing. They don't know how to return in time.[spoiler=Galagar's ending]But before he's going to die, he does Kelik and Anakin a final favor. Those two are easily saved if you rush your party to the right before Galagar makes his first appearance in the southeast. Leaving them like that, however, will do them as many favors as any other green unit in danger. Yeah, I explained it already that it was a mistake to split my units. I had to send all my units to the east.If I had paid more attention on the dialogue in the beginning, I might have known about the rewarping thing. prostrat 10/10. most of my units had enough speed not to be doubled by galagar. i used a savestate to see who galagar would target, and i think he went after the same unit every time. i had emma heal from a distance with physics and had the rest of my team go up to save frederick. you did not lose much though. It's right that most of my units would have survived him (without getting a crit) except for Levion (purpose death), Shon, Yue and Anakin.Since I split up my units, I couldn't trap him anymore. So I was forced to use the left path (beause there was a bolting sage left furthermore).I had to place Liuke close to him so that he couldn't reach Yue (which would have meant his end). I don't feel sorry for the units, but for the bow. Been lurking for a while. I love this romhack.Galagar warps in a set pattern, so you can just make sure you are outside his range when you know he'll warp to a certain place.Of course, that doesn't help on a blind run, where not knowing his warp sequence is part of being blind. My expectation was that he only will rewarp, if no one is in his attack range. But it wasn't the case here.Actually I thought to recognize Galagar's pattern: He rewarps and attacks after each second turn. But he attacked me twice in a row in turn 10 and 11.So Idk about his A.
