SapphireFalconWing
I can see why this is also a reason the rating for the game is high.
Abysswalker25
Possibly. I mean, it'd make sense considering you're at war. But to my knowledge this is the first time they've actually added blood to character models rather than just keeping it to dialogue stuff. B.Leu
Wait. There's blood ? I didn't know that ! That's pretty cool actually.
Taka-kun
that be shocking if they do since blood is ok by western standards. By western standards, not always to the individual companies' standards. Megaman Zero for example, had a splat ton of blood in its opening sequence but it was entirely removed in the western release.
gayserbeam
You need a magnifying glass to notice that so I doubt there will be censorship. The game will be rated at least T after all.
Caster
Is that battle damage? Or is that in some maps because plot? Either way it's really cool.
gayserbeam
It's battle damage, but I have never noticed it myself.

goodperson707
^ how did we get to the censorship policies of Westerns? though i never have watched that many so i can't comment :) (though the magnificent 7 theme is fun to play) Edited July 4, 2015 by goodperson707
TheCaptain
I don't recall seeing blood in FE since that part in the beginning of FE6 where they gave Hector a special bloody sprite. That was before FE came to the West
Taka-kun
^ how did we get to the censorship policies of Westerns? though i never have watched that many so i can't comment :) (though the magnificent 7 theme is fun to play) Because the posters in this thread seem to be positive towards having blood in the game and there is a risk that this will be censored in localization, as there are examples where a game moving to the west gets censored. Whether it's silly or not depends on who you ask. Some feel the need to voice their opinion anyways, even though nobody asked. Welcome to the Internet. Shinehollow
I like this.My sister and I have been saying how Fire Emblem has a habit of leaving bodies but no blood.Guess that isn't true now.

I was making a Joke about this post westerns don't know how to censor anything they just make themselves look laughably silly. From the spelling it looks like he is talking about the cenosrship policies of the Western (as in the wild west) genre of Movies(such as the magnificent 7). Sorry for the confusion. SapphireFalconWing
lol blood is the one thing they wont censorexactly it would be silly this is a WAR I'm surprised they didn't add This since Hectors unique sprite in FE6 this is a good change. I would be surpised if this gotten censored here in the states the country has a warped view on things. Violence is okay but intimacy or nudity is some sort of trigger for many. goodperson707
Oh i know what you meant, but its the internet :), and anyway taking what people say completely seriously even if i am 99% sure they meant something else or are joking is almost a hobby for me. Landmaster
That's actually really cool~ I doubt this will be censored what with how blood happy Henry was in Awakening (even if only through dialogue). Also, it isn't like they changed Lethality's animation either. In a T-rated game, I don't see why they'd censor something so minor.
