tokyobeam
Spoilers below. You've been warned. I'm never one to avoid spoilers so I learned pretty early on that two of the siblings from the family you don't side with have scripted deaths. Along comes those rumors that claim Sakura gets killed by Nosferatu or that Leon and Camilla can possibly die when you fight them as bosses. Before I learned that Takumi is the final boss and other scripted sibling death in the Nohr route, I mentioned to a friend that it was kind of interesting to have the sibling deaths be the same despite which route you take, with both the big brother and little sister dying. I haven't seen anyone else talk about this, but now that we know who actually dies and who actually lives, I was curious if anyone else would have preferred the sibling deaths to parallel each other? I always felt like having Hoshido losing both princes/brothers seemed a little lopsided, and maybe almost unfair, compared to Nohr losing one brother and one sister. Maybe it's just me, but choosing Takumi to die in general just seemed kind of random to me. Would you rather have had a different sibling die? Would having Sakura die to parallel Elise or Leon die to parallel Takumi be more impactful? Why do both big sisters get to live?
Book of Ereshkigal
I dunno, I don't really care about such a parallel either way tbh
Hatsuoki
I feel like if there was a parallel, it might just become obvious who would die.
Respite&Nepenthe
I'm glad it's not parallel. It'd be too predictable. But yeah I would prefer it wasn't Takumi.
sperio
I like not having a parallel as having one would make the deaths seem formulaic, in my opinion. I think Takumi was a good choice because he and Ryouma have the most character development on the Hoshido side--they make the strongest impressions--so their deaths would consequentially have the most impact. I wish they went about Takumi in a different way though...but now I'm tempting myself to get off topic. (; Edit: for grammar! hoppy9046
I'm not surprised that they didn't choose Camilla for a character death, considering how popular her character is.The same goes for Leo/Leon I guess.

(I mean, they can gun for a design to specifically make the character popular, though)
