He was one of the most influential and charismatic figures in the entire gaming industry, and has contributed to many, many Nintendo franchises, including Fire Emblem. He has been an executive producer for every Fire Emblem game since Rekka no Ken. His last "Iwata Asks" segment was also on Fire Emblem: Fates. He will be missed dearly. Rest in Peace Iwata. Discuss.
