I'm gay dabadeedabada
[spoiler=Bear] (image reused from pet thread) I've been feeling his lymph nodes every day for the past week and they just keep getting bigger and lumpier. It's possible he has an infection or something, but my dad, who was a surgeon at one point, says it's probably lymphoma. And we can't take him to the vet this week because my stepdad, who has the papers for Bear, is out. It's like, asfkpksgpr, too, 'cause taking him to the vet means a biopsy and chemo and stuff. At least if it's cancer, it's not prostate cancer, which a screwed up biopsy of would kill the Bear. tl;dr dog might have cancer, wat do
Original Alear
Good luck. Hope he does well. Very cute dog obviously means very good dog so ya!
EricaofRenais
That very sad, but you should be able to take him to his regular vet without your stepdad, at least the vet my family uses does not care which of us takes our dogs even though they are all in my mom's name. I'm gay dabadeedabada
I don't have a regular vet. My parents always insist on just going to the vet once a year for shots, and it's always a different vet. ;_;
X-Naut
not doge fren : ( All I can say on the matter is see if any of the vets you visited knows how to deal with cancer while your stepdad is away, then schedule an appointment with said vet. Otherwise just keep him comfortable and watch for any signs of illness. How old is he, by the way?
I'm gay dabadeedabada
He's only 7 years old...
I'm gay dabadeedabada
Update: He formed another pair of swollen nodes on the back of his neck. We're hearing back from the vet on Monday, but the symptoms are really looking like cancer. I'm worried, although he's still energetic. If he ends up having lymphoma, I'll have to form a bucket list, because my mom doesn't want to deal with chemo.

I'm gay dabadeedabada
Bear officially has cancer and about two more months to live. I want to take him camping in Yosemite or something before he gets too sick to go.
