Soooooo...about the number of units...

What is an ideal number of units to have? Right now, I'm thinking of maybe having 10 active units, excluding Chrom (sinceyou have to take him) and non-combat healers (since they don't take exp from your fighting units). But what do you think?

Depends on the player. I find 2 to be extremely simple/straightforward. Others like Chrom + Spouse, Avatar + Spouse, Kids (and perhaps on additional 1st gen pair). There's nothing inherently wrong with fielding 10; it's unreasonable to want to use more units than you can field in chapters. That's the number 1 cut off.

Yes, but the number you can field increases. And I'm trying to get a core team together, and only use them, so the EXP isn't spread out too far. I must have made a mistake somewhere in my initial playthrough, since I used EXPodental Growth countless times.

I'm trying to do some pre-planning this time around, so it doesn't happen again.
