Lantairu
As I have been saying recently, I recently saw the Haruhi Suzumiya novels and the spinoff series: The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki Chan, as well as started reading the light novels. When I'm talking about the light novels, I'm talking about specifically 1-4 considering those are the ones the anime+movie are based off of, and it would be unfair to include six novels of content that the anime hasn't gotten to when comparing the two. So which is better? Personally, I enjoy the anime more as 1) I have a short attention span, and 2) I think the animators really did a great job of taking the personality, fun, and energy of the light novels and transferring it into an animated form. Shin
I've seen both seasons of the anime, the movie and read part of the manga. It's a pretty OK series, my only issue is that the anime dragged on forever, with only about 6 or so meaning episodes across the two seasons.
