Question about Fire Emblem Thracia 776

Hello, I would like to know if there is a point to level up a unit to level 20, since all stats cap at twenty?

I would also like to know which units benefit from early promotion and can be really usefull despite not hitting level 20 before promotion.

Thank you in advance!

It's not surprising when an unit capped a stat or more in first tier.

In general there's no need to bring all the units to level 20 unless they've not capped all their important stats yet.

For physical units: Strength, skill and speed should be capped.

For magical units: Magic and speed should be capped. Good skill wouldn't be bad either.

Edit: Yes, you can prepromote, if you can make sure that all the important stats will be capped in second tier. Scrolls will help the units a bit to increase their weaker stats.

Pretty much what the others said. Since caps are exceptionally low, you don't need to do the whole lv. 20 promotion stuff. It simplifies things quite a lot, actually.

Only promote a unit beyond Lv. 10 if they have a deficiency in a particularly important stat, like speed or skill.
