I don't get why Eponine's flower is red

Kudos the writers for varying Kanna's mother support, instead of being painfully generic like with Morgan. It does add a deeper sense of character for Kanna's mother.

Obviously the flower is a description of the mother but I can't help but remark on how unusual it is to be so fascinated and descriptive of a simple thing.
