Varidan
I just finished the paralogue chapter for Ignatius... and he's not in my party? I mean he died during the fight, but afterwards asked to join and everything seemed fine. Do they seriously expect you to make it to the village before he dies? This just seems thrown out of nowhere, since so far it didnt matter if allied units die. I mean hell, you even can even kill Nina in her paralogue and its all cool. ShadowStar77
Yes. This is why Ignatius' Paralouge is a pain.
sfthrowaway
Ignatius, Selkie, Shiro, and all the other "start as green units" kids have to be recruited before they go down, if you're going to let them go down. Nina and one or two others have to be "killed" in their paralogues to be recruited, as well. The asking to join the party thing for Ignatius was just for story purposes, he's forever crippled. Byleth
yeah that's why Ignatius Paralogue is a bit hard to do especially if you recruit him so late in game just like Shiro. You must reach him first then talk to him to make him join your army first.
Varidan
Welp, i already saved after the fight. That sucks then. I was barely able to fly Beruka there in time too. Guess I'll try harder next time around.
carefreejules
...Really? For me, I actually didn't have anyone talk to him - I just made sure he didn't die and he got recruited to my party anyway by the end of it.
