SaltyPearl
I heard that boo camp is DLC for grinding and I was thinking on getting it, but I don't know if it's good. I don't wanna waste money on a DLC that isn't even good...
saisymbolic
Boo Camp is only good if you are desperate for EXP in Conquest and if scouting enemies in Revelation or Birthright are beginning to give only 1 EXP point. The problem with Boo Camp is that has enemies that will attack you if you get in their range and they are powerful as well - it is only good if you have promoted characters. It's bad for lower-leveled characters. I have it and it is doing its duty - it is only two dollars, if you want it. If you would rather grind with the enemies given in-game, it is also a choice. Azz
If you're going to try and grind with Boo Camp, you need to keep everyone around the same level since Boo Camp scales with how far you are in the story. So training a say Lv 17 unprompted unit would be very difficult if you are grinding them around endgame. But other then that, it is very good if you want to max stats. Roflolxp54
Boo Camp easily promotes lowmanning if you train only certain units or forces you to train up all units rather equally if you intend to use the entire character roster since the stats of the enemies scale based on what chapter you're at when you start the map (a common trope on pretty much all DLC maps in Fates that allow you to use your own units). It's mainly very useful in Conquest as it is the only DLC map that gives experience points in that story route. Green Faceless are generally weaker, gives less experience, and aggro you while gold Faceless are much stronger, gives more experience, but will run away from you and will only attack if you attack them while adjacent to them. Stoneborn are easily the most annoying thing on the map due to their Immobilize skill (if their attacks connect, target's movement is reduced to 0 and Avoid is reduced by 20 for the current and next turn). It's generally better for experience in the long run than when compared to Awakening's EXPonential Growth but it isn't anywhere as braindead as Awakening's EXPonential Growth. Genevie
boo camp is good if you play conquest, and frustrated with your save file, for birthright/revelation gold DLC is much better, you can use the gold to buy the weapons+scouting the enemies (i recommend to scout the enemies in map before last chapter, my kana gained lvl 20-->25 in 1 and half hour scouting grind) Edited March 20, 2016 by Genevie
Shadow Knight
Boo Camp is good if you are training a select group of units. But the training takes longer than Awakening's xp map. It is still useful, but it requires more patience and effort. Edited March 20, 2016 by Shadow Knight
