Where does the game take place Lore-wise?

My friend and I have been speculating where the game takes place in the Lore? Does it have anything to do with the Archanea, Jugdral, or Valentia timelines?

Considering Hoshido/Nohr's world is in another dimension, I don't think linear time really applies, does it? (Though Chrom speaks like the kingdoms are old and magic or something, and the Awakening trio mention being from the future)

To be completely fair awakening land apparently ties into every single possible FE dimension via "fuck it NOSTALGIA"

Fates happens off on it's own separate timeline/world from what I can tell.

It's its own universe/timeline, just with Outrealm shenanigans thanks to the Awakening trio and Chrom knowing of Hoshido and Nohr only through myths (similar to how the stories of Elibe, Magvel, and Tellius are just old tales).

The thing about mythical kingdoms is that some of them exist in forgotten or disappeared lands, or even realms beyond earth. Even in our history from the legend of the likes of Atlantis or the realms where Gods or supernatural beings reside like Tir Na Nog.

Real answer: wherever you want it to be. Thanks to outrealms, which this game REALLY nails home I want to add, every possible outcome in a FE game is canon and it's up to the player to decide what's canon to their FE world based off their choices in the games.
