*Haku
Rend Heaven says it takes 50% of the opponent's STR/MAG and adds it to your damage. But like sometimes it does zero bonus damage sometimes it does like a respectable 10-20+ I'm still confused. Considering all the hype about how it's an OP skill. I'm still skeptical
Podo OneK
It does exactly what it says. Adds half the enemies strength or mag, depending on the weapon you are using. It wont add any damage if the enemy you are attacking doesn't have any of the offensive stat that would be used for your weapon. Its mainly considered amazing due to its high hit rate. And the damage not working on mages doesn't really matter since mages don't need much to be taken out.
Thane
If you use a physical weapon, you apply 50% of the enemy's strength to your attack. If you use a magical weapon, you add half of the enemy's magic stat.It is, essentially, a way for Takumi to flip the bird to Generals. Lord_Grima
If a high magic user activates Rend Heaven against a general or another class with almost zero magic growth they will not have much bonus damage added. If a high strength user attacks the same general then you will add a lot of bonus damage. So to make the most of this skill you want to attack someone a weapon type (magic based or strength based) that corresponds to what the enemies higher Str/Mag stat is. claire
I gave it to takumi for hours of fun
Karis
It's very useful on units that have access to both magic and weapons too since you can then switch depending on opponent. Or as others here said, helping Takumi kill Generals.
Jakkun
Omega Yato + Nohrian Trust build with a slave that has Rend Heaven, Luna, and Aether = The true Power Fantasy
SatsumaFSoysoy
Rend Heaven on Takumi just straight up makes him unstoppable lol. I'm not sure even if Bowbreaker can wall him, because of Certain Blow. No idea how good that is in PvP, but in story chapters it basically means you get a free kill every turn.
