Obviously after discovering Silver star axe etc are unavailable to player units I ruled out my first choice for lead weapons... So what's your take on best 1-2 range weapon (each weapon type) for units to start equipped with until they get their attack action? Bear in mind if the AI works like awakening they won't use their preferred weapon when they get an action unless it actually has a higher MT. EX.
