Morning came yet again, and the people woke, looking at their hands and realizing that they were awake. They knew what that had meant: they had survived the night. They were alive.

Going out, Will merely looked around. “Oh! Oh no!” he heard someone yell.

Around the corner, Songbird came out of the alleyway. “Will. . . They. . . MaSu! MaSu’s dead!”

Will’s eyes widened, as did Bizz, who came up behind them. “Epona. . . Epona found Nightmare! Nightmare’s dead!”

Bizz’s face was in her palm, and she sighed, exasperated. “I hope it’s only them. . .” she said. “Maybe we should check in case. Let’s split up, guys.”

Fim looked around the fountain, where they had found numerous bodies before. She saw no body, and merely waited at the tree, their designated meeting place.

Bizz looked in the abandoned building, but saw nothing too. “Maybe it’s just two. . . I hope at least. . .”

Fireman had joined the searching effort. He checked a few streets and alleys, but saw nothing. On his way back he was greeted by Ninji, Freohr, and Branded.

“No one--” Ninji had started, before stopping in his tracks. His eyes widened. “Good. . . God. . . No. . .”

Before the small group lay a body, unmoving, and in a pool of its own blood. Freohr ran forward. “No! No! No. . .”

Branded moved the body so that they could see the face.

“TLS. . .” Ninji started. “TLS is dead.”

“Three deaths. . . What could this mean?” Freohr asked, fear in her eyes.

“Perhaps someone has joined the fray. . .” Branded answered. “Perhaps. . .”

Ninji picked up TLS’ body. “We should meet the others and tell them of this. . . Dreaded discovery.”

Snow_Storm froze when he saw TLS’ body placed right next to the bodies of Nightmare and MaSu. “Not TLS too. . .”

Raven only shook his head. “Three deaths. Three goddamn deaths! What’s become of this town?!”

Ethereal_Hero patted Raven’s shoulder. “It’s just for tonight. . . Hopefully.”

Kiba nearly kneeled down to the bodies. He began to search their pockets as the people watched. He watched the blood on Nightmare’s neck as he checked his chest pocket. He found nothing. Kiba checked Nightmare’s pants pockets next, and got the same result: nothing. “Citizen. Nightmare was a citizen.”

The crowd gasped, and shook their heads. “Oh. . . No. . .”

Kiba checked MaSu’s pockets now. He only found some papers and a pouch of gold. Within the papers were abstract details of places MaSu had planned to hide. He only shook his head again.

Lastly, he checked TLS’ pockets, but he knew what he would find. “It’s damn true. . .” he said, holding up a notepad and an Officer’s badge. “It’s all over.”

Nightmare has been killed! He was Edward, TOWN Citizen (Townie Vanilla)
