Knight Falchion
At the jobs I've had, I haven't been able to, but I would if I could For schoolwork, music I'm familiar with helps me focus, so I listen if I can

Chen
totes! QOTD 1150 - Do you like audiobooks?
euklyd
If there's a book I want to read, I will generally just read the text. I have never sought out an audiobook over a printed / digital text. That being said, I greatly enjoy audiobooks for the purposes of experiencing stories with other people, e.g., on a long car ride or on a vacation. MisterIceTeaPeach
They're the perfect replacement for written books since I don't read. Listen to them quite a lot. Edited February 21, 2017 by Magillanica Lou Mayvin
Freohr Datia
I actually don't think I have the concentration for that! (Unlike last qotd apparently) I think when I hear words read out to me, I can't get myself to focus on the sound of the words and the meaning of the words at the same time (or at least not for a huge string of words). I often absolutely lose track of what somebody's saying to me if they speak for a really long time, especially if they're using ~big~ and ~fancy~ words at me that would take even more of my concentration ^o^ I have to focus really hard if I want to comprehend it all and my focus typically can't last very long. oh, also I still have issues if I try to hear the words AND read the words at once Edited February 21, 2017 by Freohr Datia

NinjaMonkey
I've never listened to one, but I prefer reading a book over listening to one because of all the outside noise.
