Fire emblem DS hacking

Ok, so I have been looking into hacking the fire emblem ds games as they have a lot of documentation from the heroes of light and shadow people and there are not many hacks for these games. The documentation is well done and easy to follow so I though I would use the ds fire emblems instead of the gba ones.

My question is, is there a program like dslazy that lets you decompress ds roms that works on windows 10, as most guides say use dslazy but from experimentation it does not decompress the full rom when running it on windows 10, however it did work on windows 7.
