Amiibo

I believe you can gain exp from Amiibo battles. I own all 4 of them and unless they void curse for some reason you should be able to gain exp from them, but you can only battle each of them once per save due to the Amiibo units joining you afterwards.

EDIT: Never mind I checked, and there's no exp whatsoever. My memory was a bit funky.

No, you can't gain experience from the Amiibo maps in Conquest. I guess it's because you might be able to dismiss them and afterwards restart the recruitment process to active the battle again, although I haven't tried that yet, so it's just a guess

Only things that gives your units experience in Conquest is the Exponential Growth DLC, child chapters, and the random castle skirmishes/encounters.

You mean the 3 invasion battles. They aren't random, even though there are no story scenes attached to them.

You can dismiss them after recruitment, but using the amiibo again afterwards in the same file in which they're dismissed just has them show up in the castle to run shops. So in that way, you can still have them run shops and get their exclusive goods even if they're not in your team. This is assuming you've already done the Hero battles.
