Confused about how first gen deaths affect pairings

Does the death of a mother or father after he/she has been paired affect the kids you get in the second generation? Like if Adean/Midayle are paired in Chapter 2 but Midayle dies in Chapter 5, do you get Lester/Lana or Dimna/Mana? What if Adean is the one who dies instead? Does that change things?

Also, can a female be paired twice? Like if Adean/Midayle are paired but Midayle dies, can Adean pair again with Jamke?

If the mother dies, you don't get the children.

If the father dies, the children's stats will decrease a bit.

Thanks. If a father is killed, do they not pass down any inventory to their kids? Like, could you lose Forseti forever if Lewyn is killed?

Also, does using the Valkyrie to revive a unit screw up his/her kids at all or does the game just treat it like the death never happened?
