poptdp
So I have a Lunatic Classic file in Revelations route, purely as my "Main" file for having all characters, min/maxing, post-game shenanigans, etc. I've worked on this file completely legit, grinding everyone post-game and WITHOUT Aptitude on anyone, due to my knowledge of it being a hacked skill. Now here's where the problem lies. Since they got rid of Awakening's infinite reclassing/releveling system, you can only get up to a maximum of Level 99 (with the use of a lot of very expensive Eternal Seals). But since the level up RNGs are so ridiculous, I have a Level 99 Charlotte with 7 Resistance and a Level 99 Nyx with 11 Defense. Pardon my french, but that's total bull****. Should I restart my file and just buy Aptitude from other castles?? I honestly did not want to resort to it, but the RNG is just ridiculous. On the other hand, I hate seeing the Aptitude skill in one of my character's skill list when I know it doesn't belong there >_< Someone tell me what to do! Chromagna
The easiest way I can think of rectifying this without resorting to aptitude is give them the best classes for the worst growths of their final classes. If all else fails, aptitude may be worth it... It is pretty screwed to have those stats.
kcirrot
"You choose your own level of involvement!" -Tyler Durden You have to decide for yourself if you want to play it straight or not. It's your game. For my part after I did my lunatic runs legit, it's open season for me. I use my powersaves, buy any skills I wants from the other castles, etc. I actually don't buy Aptitude because I'll just clone dragon herbs as necessary. I don't seriously PvP after seeing people with 4 Omega Yatos, so I really don't care. It sounds like you did the hard work of beating the game on lunatic, so I say go for it! This is exactly what I was thinking too, since i finished it on lunatic already legit.. it would be so much easier if i could just clone dragon herbs without resorting to buying a Powersave thing >_< Edited July 2, 2016 by poptdp
VincentASM
Hang on, you can level up past 99 (but it won't display above 99). I don't think there's an actual limit or the limit is much higher than 99. Granted, getting loads of no stat level ups past 99 is a pain... BTW, Dread Fighter is a decent way to get high Resistance growth on most characters and Witch for Magic, I think. I suck at Royal Royale though so I use Dread Fighter as a last resort XD Perhaps you could reset for stat ups too. Like leave character on near 99 exp, then do some easy skirmishes to level up. If the stat doesn't go up, reset and try something different? Edited July 2, 2016 by VincentASM
Rowlet
I've been insanely lucky with my units so far. Everyone nearly maxes themselves out in most stats by the time they are level 50+. However, I think that since you put in the time and effort to do a 100% legit Lunatic run, you deserve to cut yourself a little bit of slack. I say go for it! Rowlet
Wait so you CAN level up an unlimited amount of times?? After 99 you can still increase stats? Yep. The game will always have Lvl 99, as it can't really fit in Lvl 100+, but mechanically you still gain stats.

Looks like I won't be resorting to Aptitude after all :)
