Would you back a fire emblem spiritual successor on kickstarter?

I'm not going to say that the new fire emblem games are necessarily bad (I loved conquest, good return to form), but rather that the world could always use more fire emblem, because the fire emblem series is great.

My experience from watching kickstarters is that a high quality playable demo helps a LOT, mainly because you have proven that you have both tallent and a workable idea if the demo is good. Undertale is an example to a game with a highly succesfull kickstarter with a developer who almost no one had heard of (although he did make an earthbound romhack) that had a playable demo. you might want to peruse its old kickstarter page to see what it did:

Also, you do NOT want to reuse any assets. No one cares if you are making a hobiest project, but it will get you in trouble if you start accepting money for it.

If i were you, I would watch this playlist (which consists of 2 guys mocking bad kickstarter campaigns) to get an idea of what not to do:
