Just call me AL
I've been curious about how an efficiency tier list would be built up for the main game in this particular game. How would such a list be built up? I've seen arguments over on GameFAQs and Reddit (the only sites that I know of that have attempted such a thing) that Specials, Support skills, and memory and equipment slots are the most important for deciding what to go with for trying to play this game "quick enough to even be considered 'fast'". And the only lists that I've seen that tackle this only cover final evolutions, which has me curious. One such list can be found on both GameFAQs and Reddit, and is as follows. Top Tier PlatinumNumemon (The cited list notes that it would be Bottom tier were it not for its Support Skill) Jesmon Kentaurosmon Dyansmon Mastemon Lilithmon High Tier UlforceVdramon WarGreymon Gankoomon Crainiamon ShineGreymon Dianamon Plesiomone Beelzemon MarineAngemon Cherubimon (Vice) Crusadermon Belephemon Rage Mode Beelzemon Blast Mode Upper Mid Imperialdramon Fighter Mode Ophanimon ChaosGallantmon- GranKwagamon Sakuyamon Seraphimon Leopardmon Loepard Mode BlackWargreymon Belphemon Sleep Mode Etemon (Listed despite being a "Perfect-level" Digimon.) Omnimon Lucemon Satan Mode Lucemon Chaos Mode Lower Mid Ebemon Imperialdramon Dragon Mode Examon- Cherubimon (Virtue) Titamon Gallantmon Leopardmon Barbamon Hououmon MirageGaogamon MetalEtemon MetalGarurumon Leviamon Lotosmon Imperialdramon Paladin Mode OmnimonZwart Wisemon Magnamon Rapidmon(Armor) Low Tier Alphamon Vikemon VenomMyotismon GrandLocomon SaberLeomon Justimon MegaGargomon TigerVespamon Diaboromon Daemon HiAndromon Piedmon Puppetmon HerculesKabuterimon Minervamon Machinedramon BlackMetalGarurumon MetalSeadramon RustTyranomon Bottom Tier Gaiomon BanchoLeomon PrinceMamemon Said list can be found by scrolling on this page or here. And why it has me curious is because of this simple question: What about anything beforehand? I mean, among the "starter" Digimon, I would imagine that Hagurumon > Palmon > Terriermon, based on evolutions and Support Skills said evolutions carry. And then there's the "scan" function to consider. Which, from what I remember seeing, can generate a certain Digimon when that Digimon's scan meter is at 100%. Which kinda tells me that rarity among enemy Digimon may be a factor. But even then, I'm not too sure. Any thoughts?
