IceBrand
Hans is a berserker yet he uses the fighter critical. Same with Iago since he's a sorcerer but uses the dark mage animation. Why is that?
Brand_Of_The_Exalt
I don't know. Maybe they took the Fighter animation to make Hans more brutal, but it's just a hypothesis.
Lethakitty
Maybe there are plans for prequel dlc with the villains but its just a theory a DLC theory thanks for reading (yes I have no shame) Edited October 1, 2016 by Destroyer of Forms
Light Strategist
I'd just guess it's to make them more unique. Look at Iago. He gets Staff usability as a Sorcerer despite the fact that Sorcerers can't use them. Does Hans have any other unique attributes aside from his appearance and the critical animations? Mox
To be honest I had actually never noticed. I think that it's perhaps to just distinguish them a bit animation wise from their classes. Although Light Strategist makes a good point in that Iago gets lots of unique traits and Hans doesn't get as much. It's an interesting observation. shadowofchaos
Kazahana uses the samurai crit animation as a lead unit with the Killing Edge, but uses the kick critical for Trueblade/Swordmaster on dual attack.
