Does anyone have Ike in there my castle?

I heard that you can buy Ike's sword (Ragnell), if he is recruited on to your team. I know that I can't recruit a amiibo character, but he appears in the weapon shop at times so I was hoping to catch him in another person's my castle to buy Ragnell.

Basically, the third time you scan Ike he will ask for a battle (Hero battle on the map). Once you won, he will join your team. If you scan his amiibo in your castle again, he will be the shopkeeper either at the Accessory shop (to buy Ike's or Yune's paldron) or at the armory, where you can buy as many less potent replica of his sword as you want (Ike's Backup). You can forge them however. But he won't appear in other MyCastles, because you can't scan his amiibo elsewhere and he doesn't stay permanently in your castle, so you can't meet him anywhere either.

Weapon Rank: C

Might: 10

Hit: 70

Crit: 0

Avoid: -10

Range: 1

Worth: 3000 G

Effect: Defense +3, follow-up attack speed -3.

As far as I know, even if we have Ike recruited, I don't think he'll appear as a shop keeper for online visiting since you have to scan him after you've recruit Ike for a chance for him to appear in either Armory or Accessory Shop.

Yeah, you need the amiibo. Just like you can't gift the amiibo accessories, it's probably to make sure people buy the amiibo if they want the stuff.
