I Need Some Help Sending a Package to Japan

so I need to send in some cards for the Force of Will Ascention Campain

the adress given is

and I don't know how to format it on a package

is it like how it's here in the US

Japan usually orders things biggest to smallest. You can write/type out the Japanese but they can also read the romanized names.

Edit: Haha, now I'm a tad confused. I searched Kobe Central Post office but it came up with a different post code than the one you have. But when I searched your post code, it is showed me the same place. Anyway, the rest of the address is definitely correct.

Uhh.. here's what I recommend:

Put the Japanese address on the package for the "To".

And just put "Japan" in big letters so the US post office knows what country to send it.

The Japanese post handles it as soon as it gets there.

Translating it to English won't help you.

Have you posted it yet? You don't have much to worry about. If you're using English, American address standards are fine. Local carriers will interpret the following without any issues:

Attn to Force of Will

Kobe Central Post Office

650-8799

JAPAN

If you want to use Japanese, write:

〒650-8799
神戸中央郵便局留
Force of Will事務局担当宛
JAPAN

As I regularly send stuff over to Japan, I can vouch for most people's suggestion. I would, however, make the following changes, though. (In bold)

〒650-8799
Force of Will事務局担当宛 (宛 is "To")
神戸中央郵便局留 (留 is the equivalent to "c/-")
神戸市 中央区 栄町通 6-2-1 (You don't have to add 丁目 in front of the "6".)
Hyogo Prefecture, Japan

Always start from the biggest division to the smallest if you are writing in Japanese

If there is one thing I'll do differently to both shadowofchaos and Wist, I would write both the prefecture and the country in English - as I had some cases where my local post office asked me to do so. While I'm speculating, I say its because your (@Captain Karnage's) mail will most likely go through Kansai Airport in Osaka, while most of my mail back home would go through either Narita or Haneda Airports in Tokyo.
