Rezzy
Sad, but at least she had a full life.
PersonWithTime
What the damn hell! I wasn't one of those people who were saying that 2016 was the year of awesome people dying, but then Carrie Fisher and... well I couldn't help by finally agree. And now Debbie Reynolds too. I mean I understand it, at 84 you don't except your 60 year old daughter to die. But... sorry if this is the most immature response ever, but why did Carrie Fisher even have to die!? I don't like it! (A part of me was really hoping that it was a journalists mistake and Carrie Fisher didn't even die... like what happened to Matthew Perry when Friends was still on...) Rezzy
I'm sad to see Carrie Fisher go, but years of drug use likely led to her poor health.
Light Strategist
Alright, that's starting to get weird now... Still, these things happen. My blessings to the departed souls. May they find peace.
Yojinbo
Is there a bigger pain imaginable than having to witness the death of one's own child?
Light Strategist
Is there a bigger pain imaginable than having to witness the death of one's own child? Not to sound rude, but being impaled whilst witnessing that sounds more painful, though that'd be very situational and rather unlikely. That would add to the awfulness, but if I had to choose between being impaled and my child dying, I'd sacrifice myself, every time.
Light Strategist
That's seems like an odd one-upping. I didn't put lots of thought into the scenario, I just aimed for something that would be considered generally worse by comparison.
