Brand_Of_The_Exalt
I'm crossing my fingers that David Stanbra is behind George Spelvin. He doesn't exactly sound like him, but let's hope. Seriously, he was one of the new voice actors that left me the best impression in Fates. "This ends here!"

I agree, I mean the vocal range he showed in that game was pretty incredible. But yeah listening to his voice again I think that's still David Stanbra honestly. The DanMan
Welp, Catria isn't voiced by Julie Ann Taylor. Would've been funny since she voices Cordelia and Flora, who seem to almost be starting an archetype. I will say, the voice direction is really mixed. "Here I go" was clearly lacking any sort of exclamation; was the VA even told it was supposed to be a combat line? Also, lol at Suckbaki's only footage being of him getting KO'd. They have to know. His tone did sound a tad higher than it did in Fates yes. But there's a distinctive quality in his voice for Xander that I can still hear in his voice for Heroes. If you get what I mean. Well, they could always outsource to either Texas or NY as far as voice talent is concerned.

I kinda get it but I'll wait to hear more voice clips, since it's not as obvious as Elise or Subaki.

I've noticed a lot of general lack of enthusiasm among the VAs for this game haha. Since they have so many characters to get through I suppose it sort of makes sense that they'd be a bit lax on the voice direction, though. Yes, but it breaks the recurring joke to give Julie Ann Taylor all the characters that have an unrequited crush on someone

I didn't realize that was a thing, haha. Though honestly, I was talking more about the lackluster voice performance than the actual casting? But shrug. That IS funny, though. Sentinel07
Honestly, there's a growing sentiment that Daivd Stanbra might still be Xander, and I think I agree. I was so convinced that it was a recast at first, but the more I've listened to the trailer, the more the inflection sounds very similar. I think it's still David. Also, on Behind the Voice Actors, there's a growing idea that "Conner Kelley" might be Julianne Alexander (Felicia and Setsuna) given that Catria's "Here I go!" line almost sounds like a deeper Felicia. Funny, I was thinking about Setsuna rather. Both "Here I/we go" have a similar intonation. That's why "here I go!" reminded me of something. Now I can put a name on it. RedEyedDrake
Can I ask how come Linde and Jeorge are listed separately from the other Archanean characters in the OP when they debuted in the same game as all the other ones listed in the OP so far? In the Heroes and Heroines video, on the upper right corner, Linde and Jeorge were listed as being from Mystery of the Emblem, which is strange, but I went with it. I might combine the two lists now, especially since it's clear Nintendo counts the same character in different games as separate entities for some reason, instead of choosing only one particular version of them. Actually y'know what I'll just slap them back in the FE1 section, since there are debuts in Mystery of the Emblem. KoimanZX
I swear, Yuri Lowenthal is pretty much the Tom Kenny (or Billy West) of animu dubs; there is no escaping him. I guess I am one of those weird people who always associates Hikaru Midorikawa's performance with Marth (blame Smash Bros. for that). Also, thanks to Did you know?: Voice Acting, I cannot help but associate Marth with Bertie the Bus from Thomas the Tank Engine (Hikaru Midorikawa was the voice of both). Hikaru Midorikawa's usual work is pretty different from his Smash Marth voice, so I don't really associate the two, even though it's a fact that he voices Marth. I liked his performance in Fates for Marth a lot. @Sentinel07 Well the polls count Shadow Dragon Linde and Mystery Linde as different people, which is the same for all characters that appear in both games, so I think they're actually two separate characters in the game. I realized that too when I watched a few of the Japanese dubs of Thomas the Tank Engine (that show was a big part of my childhood and I just had to watch those dubs out of curiosity). I cannot say that much about Yuri Lowenthal's performances, however, as I can only remember his performance as Beck from the infamous Mighty No.9. I just know that Lowenthal's resume is quite extensive and that he can do a decent boyish voice (although, I am sure that Midorikawa is no slouch either). Sentinel07
Honestly, I'd really like it if they did one video focusing on the new original characters. I'd very much like to hear more about them as well. At the minimum, I just hope we get more videos in general.
