Seracz
Hi there, I'm new here. I'm a long time Fire Emblem fan. Been playing since FE7 in 2003. I used to be a member on FEPlanet a long time ago, maybe 2008-ish*, been meaning to sign up here for a long time. My interest has been on and off over the years, but FE is one of my favorite series, and the recent hype from the direct and stuff has me back in the mood. I've currently played FE 6 right up to 14 as well as FE4. My favorites are the GBA games, probably because they originally got me into it. I also play around a bit with ROM hacking FE7/8. Been working on a personal project once in a while for a year or so. Nothing I'm gonna release or anything, just for me and maybe a couple friends, but its a full scale hack and I've been starting to get the hang of it, and I find hacking very fun. *Always found it kind of funny, many years ago I used to use the name Nintenlord on the internet until I discovered there was a prominent member of the Fire Emblem community who had been using the name even longer, so I stopped using it. Rezzy
Welcome! I'm a similar boat, playing FE since FE7 was released. I used to post a lot on the GameFAQs boards in the early 2000s.
Slumber
Welcome. Back on my old message board, we tried to do a romhack of our own. We got all the baselines down stuff(Units, classes, story, support writing, custom sprites and portraits) and planning down, but once it came to actually trying to learn how to actually hacking a rom, none of us stuck with it for more than a few days, so this project we put decent effort into never took off. We all figured out how to do basic hex editing by the end of it, but stopped there. Hopefully you can stay committed to your project and you're satisfied with the result.
