That went stupendously well. Just three circles gave me L!F!Alear, L!Elincia, a merge for B!M!Robin, and L!Veronica. I went from missing six of the units on this banner to three, so I'm not pushing my luck any more. Let's see if the weekly Arena ticket gives me a good capstone.

It really says something when the gacha itself was more generous for Christmas than Yunaka was. It's because of this that I am not that annoyed at Yunaka for the lack of summoning tickets.

Besides hitting the jackpot for the free pull, I also got CYL Soren (+Def/-Atk; New) and Legendary Veronica (neutral; New) on the second set of pulls. I'll probably keep going on this banner until I get Legendary F!Alear, though there are also several other characters I don't have here (CYL M!Robin, CYL Gullveig, L!Deirdre, Askr, Medeus).

Doing my usual full session pulls on the Winter banner reruns got me my first copy of Mycen, and he's [+Atk, -HP], which is really nice.

 

50 pulls from the Double Special Heroes banner:

• 3 Kagero
• 0 Karla (+1 spark)

Kagero is now +7 and yet I still haven't pulled a copy better than neutral. Karla is now +10.

 

50 pulls from the Hall of Forms banner:

• 3 Micaiah (+1 spark)
• 2 pity breakers:
  • Ascended Elincia
  • Ascended Laegjarn

The spark brought Micaiah to +9, so I decided to keep pulling and managed to get the last copy in only 10 pulls, which was nice for a change.

As usual, Ascended Heroes seem to like me a lot. Ascended Elincia would be +10 if I merged all of them, but I'm holding off on merging for now in case I need her skills.

Also got Eleonora to +7 and Leila to +8 with copies of them from the 4-star SR pool.

8.1% focus rate is about half a pull below average. 4.7% Camilla rate is about 3 pulls above average.

This is probably the most bizarre distribution of pulls I've yet gotten from a Legendary/Mythic Hero banner. My usual luck would have swapped the numbers for Camilla and Soren, but even then, it usually isn't this ridiculously lopsided.

Alear is now +10, though I'm waffling on whether to merge the last copy into her or leave her at +9 and give Pledge to a skill duplicator. I'm leaning towards merging, though, since, while Pledge is technically best in slot for a lot of units, we don't have Def Oath Echo or Res Oath Echo to properly pair with Atk/Spd Pledge yet.

Camilla is obviously now +7. I'm not planning on using any of these copies for skills yet. As good as Deadly Miasma is, the utility of Atk/Spd Oath 4 is still extremely stiff competition for it, especially if you aren't using Rally skills very often.

So then, I, who had saved up a number of orbs I was happy with, was all "what if I tried to get Say'ri on the Double Special banner?" I had 310 or so orbs. I now have 134, a Bride Flavia 4* manual, and a Teatime Sigurd, but nothing else to show for it. Struggling to give up the pursuit so I have a decent shot at getting New Years M!Kana. But the appearance rate for focus 5*'s is 8.5 right now...

And then I summoned 1 more time and got her. Yay. Kind of feel like my luck was biting me, but I'm okay. Hopefully I'll pull New Years M!Kana quickly when the banner comes out so I can save orbs again.

My actual pulls were very meh/10. Didn't get either of the staff sisters, got one Lara who was -atk, and didn't even get any off-focuses or 4-star specials.

The one thing that made this session not be 0.5/10 was that I did legitimately pull Reinhardt. Somewhere between pulls 31-35. And he was -atk.

I am not amused.

EDIT: Actually, I got 2 Laurents near the beginning, who is a merge project, so it wasn't that terrible I guess. Still, I can't believe I didn't get either Safy or Tina. Or more than one Lara.

Since the Winter banner was ending today, I couldn't procrastinate any longer on cleaning out my barracks and finally cleared some space.

Edelgard really didn't want to come home. Despite the fact that I was sniping blue, by the time I got my last spark, I had pulled only 1 copy of Edelgard, but 3 copies of Byleth and 1 copy each of Dimitri and Yunaka. Part of this was caused by the first pity charge, which got me Yunaka and 2 copies of Byleth on the same circle.

4.3% focus rate is pretty good, about 3 pulls above average. 7.3% 5-star rate is also pretty good, about 2 pulls above average.

Managed to get a perfect Byleth ([+Res, -Spd]), a perfect Dimitri ([+Spd, Res]), and eventually a perfect Edelgard ([+Atk, -Spd]) on the last one. No copy of Yunaka was better than neutral.

Isadora was my first copy of her, and is also perfect ([+Spd, -Res]). Hardin was my second copy and is close enough ([+Spd, -HP]). Noah and Anankos are also my second copies of them, but neither have a good Asset. Mycen was my second copy, but my first was already close enough to perfect that this one wasn't better.

Overall a pretty good haul.

 

Now to wait until tomorrow to level them all up with the melee training maps.

I got Tormod really quickly! So then I went to see if I could improve upon my goat collection and managed to pull New Years Nerpuz. So, once again, the only goat I'm missing is Summer Freyja. (I don't count Bunny Freyja since she doesn't turn into a goat in that form.)

So I've been mostly inactive and haven't actively summoned for anyone for a couple months, but the lure of unconditional extra mobility for infantry and armour (which I never shut up about not enjoying) was too big a draw for me not to have at least a token go. So I logged in to try to snipe the new Harmonic Igrene. (Igrene's the lead right? I'm not actually clear on that)

Regardless, whaddya know, they turned up on the 18th and 19th pulls. Both with rubbish natures: +Def -Atk and +Res -Spd, but while I'm sitting on both copies for now, there's probably a 90%+ change I'll end up merging them once I properly take stock of my barracks. That in itself probably won't happen until I play a bit more during the anniversary celebrations, which I'll be around for because I obviously could never say no to all the upcoming freebies.

 

P.S. Visually I'm liking them less and less now that I'm properly paying attention, but I guess such is the price of power. Altina still looks great after a second look but as a unit, a bog-standard 5-star non-Harmonic/Rearmed/whatever doesn't help me much at all
